Just lurking.
I also had PUPPP during my pregnancy in the 3rd trimester. It was horrible. I read online on other forums about a soap called Grandpa's pine tar soap. I bought it from Whole Foods and it really helped. Basically, it is a bar of soap and I just used a loofah and applied it all over and rinsed off after a few minutes. It took about a week before it worked. The itch was not completely gone, but it was much better. I tried to use it twice a day. Also, I bought an oatmeal lotion from Whole Foods and applied it all over after shower. Sometimes it was so bad I would also take a Benadryl at night. Hope you feel better!

I forgot to mention that it lasted about 5 to 6 weeks postpartum for me. It was not as bad as it was during my pregnancy, which is good since I did not have time to take use the soap twice a day after my baby was born.

just read this on wikipedia:

A natural remedy is to brew tea from dandelion root and drink several cups a day; proponents claim it cleans the liver and gives relief from the itch.[citation needed]

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pruritic_u ... _pregnancy

also says cortosteroid cream is effective.

try the dandelion root tea though maybe? most healthfood shops sell it.

I actually had PUPPP postpartum. It was on my thighs and really unbearable, especially at night. I found oatmeal baths helped some, but the only thing that really allowed me to get any relief was corticosteroid cream. Good luck. I hope you feel better!
