body pillows?

Postby 1daysoon » Sat Jan 10, 2015 9:01 pm

Hey ladies was wondering if anyone has any advice on body pillows...I'm just entering the 2nd trimester and knw the days sleeping on my belly will soon run out...was thinking of buying a body pillow as my hips and back already bother me if I sleep on my sides for too long...problem is there are so many I have no clue which would be best...I'd prefer to use my own pillow for my head so far I've seen ones shaped like a "C", "U", and a "J"...any suggestions?

Huge fan of the U pillow... mainly cause I can flip sides and not have to flip the pillow. I was worried about it being uncomfortable on my neck, but it isnt. I sure do miss my foam pillow though.

The only one I could find in my area was the Snoogle. It's a J. I like it but the head part is now squished down a bit and I find myself wishing it was a U shape.

I was a bit overwhelmed at first too and everyone kept mentioning the Snoogle so when I saw it I went for it. But if I did it againIwould go for a U shaped pillow online.

I would agree with them. I miss my pillow a lot, but I can't do both, so snoogle wins. Still I love having one, just a few things I would change.

I have a long straight body pillow that I am in love with . It folds to go between my knees and also supports the belly bc I too would rather use my pillow for my head. However, I am still very uncomfortable some night while trying to sleep. I just dont know if any pillow will help that. I am sleeping on a temperpedic mattress, and I'm about to take it to storage and get my regular mattress back out because this bed kills!
