3 hour glucose

Postby Jaggers » Thu Jul 02, 2015 5:41 pm

I failed the one hour and had to do the three hour today. Right after I left we hit a restaurant and right after I started eating my sugar tanked hard core. I was drenched in sweat (literally) shaky and had blurry vision. I was just wondering if this is any indication of how I did with the test. I HOPE they tell me tomorrow but I have no idea since it's a 'Holiday'.
I have this issue from time to time in the morning and I've just been told to eat high protein meals.

It's hard to tell whether it's caused by an unmanaged GD or as a direct result of the 3hr test because that's how a lot of women feel right after this test.
Anyway, fx your results come back with a positive outcome :)

I'm in the office now, doing my 3 hours test as well. Gross. This drink was even harder to process then the last! She poked the same arm twice, where I just had blood draws 2 days ago. So it's raised and sore, I'm Ganna ask her to do the other arm even though I had blood drawn from there as well 2 days ago. The funzies of being high-ish risk haha
