Which postpartum support belt do you ladies recommend?

Fourth you ask? Your body is still full of pregnancy hormones as you adjust to life sleep-deprived with your new baby outside your womb.

I am trying to buy one in preparation for when I need one in a couple of months. Do you ladies have any favorite ones you recommend a newbie like me?

I didn't actually see a need for one, honestly. Hopefully someone else with chime in with more help than I am, but just wanted to let you know that they aren't really necessary if you don't want one.

They sell them @ babies r usfor 25 bucks. I used that with ds2 and it worked great. This time, babies r usa was all out so I just got a back support and it worked just fine too.

GL finding one all the ones i bought didn't fit were way to big even the small. I got one by medela and used it for a week i think it was a total waste of money for me seeing as it didn't fit right.

I don't even know what one is   so don't worry too much as I guess they're not vital. If you've got the moolah fair enough - but if you're a bit skint maybe wait and see if you still feel you need it post partum?

I have a heavy, lycra biking short kind of thing. (I had bought it a few years back to wear under a very unforgiving bridesmaid dress). I wore it everyday for felt like weeks and I loved it. I smoothed me out and when I walked I didn't feel all jiggly.

I have never actually used a postpartum belt but have used compression shirts and cut out the neck and boob area so the straps were just there and the bottom of course. I know it sounds weird and probably an easier way but I had one laying around so thats what I did. lol

Using a postpartum girdle is something that's increased in popularity recently. It's reminiscent of the trend way back when women were wearing waist cinchers. A postpartum girdle is however, has a completely different function. Its purpose is twofold: to relieve postpartum pain as well as to help reshape a woman's abdominal region after birth. Now, wearing a postpartum girdle isn't a panacea, but rather a tool a woman can utilize along with proper diet and exercise for abdominal strengthening and toning. But, some women wear swear by it.

Help, my twins are now 11 days old and I still look 3-4 months pregnant!

I just managed to get my waist cincher on today, but no word yet if it's helping. I tried earlier this week, and I was still too big to get it on. I bought squeem brand, because it was recommended as relatively comfortable.

They gave me one at the hospital after my c/s. What a lifesaver!!! It really helped with the pulling pain when I walked.

It takes 8 weeks for your uterus to return to normal. Hang in there!
