Anyone have any ideas of remedies for gas? My son just cries in pain from all the gas (11 weeks old) and the gas-x / little tummies gas thing doesnt even touch it. We don't go back to the GI specialist till the 3rd. Any ideas,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, please!!!

We're struggling with the same thing. Putting DD across my arm, facing away from me (like a reverse cradle hold) and nestled up next to me seems to help. She likes the pressure on her tummy. I learned it from my sister whose DS had the same issue.

sit on a chair, lay him face down across your knees, wiggle you legs back and forth and pat his back and butt.

My little one has been having a few issues with this. For the past 3 weeks we've been trying different things like infacol - a medication to help the gas bubbles consilidate, to different winding strategies.
One thing that really helps is bending his knees up to his body, doing cycling motions and even a circular movement of both legs up toward the belly.
I think I've finally worked out our problem, it's worse in the mornings and I think it's because we were still swaddling him at night and he couldn't bring his knees up to pass the wind. Last night we didn't swaddle and he's been like a different baby, fingers crossed.
