Practical issues

Postby snchart » Mon Feb 22, 2010 10:18 am

Ok, so now that I'm starting to get caught up after the delivery of our LO, I want to make sure I've got all of the practical stuff done...

I've included him on my health insurance, we've gotten his social security card and ordered birth certificates, we're meeting with the financial planner to update our wills...what else do we need to do to ensure he's protected? TIA!

Life insurance?

And congrats on getting things sorted. We did the BC and SS at the hospital so that was easy but I've been lazy on getting DS added to our health insurance. I just got everything sorted today. Just need DH to fax the paperwork now.

Meg- Most insurance only have a 30 day periond to add your LO. So make sure you do it in that time. You would not want to wait for Open enrollment to add them. Just FYI...
