Is this normal?

Fourth you ask? Your body is still full of pregnancy hormones as you adjust to life sleep-deprived with your new baby outside your womb.

Is this normal?

I had pp bleed for about 4-5 weeks. I breast fed up until 5 1/2 weeks and then pumped a little bit until 7 weeks. It will be 10 weeks this Friday and still no AF? We have used condoms every time with intercourse. I don't think I could be pregnant? Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience? Or, know if this is okay? Thanks ladies!!:)

When a woman EBF, the return of hte period is usually suspended for at least the first 6 months (please don't quote me on this, but this is what I remember reading). However, supplementing, and FF moms often get there first pp af sooner. That doesn't mean that it's going to come regularly and immediately. No matter how we choose to feed our babies, being pregnant throws off our cycle and it will take a bit of time to get back into the swing of things. I'm sure you are probably not pregnant. In a couple of weeks, if no af, take a test. It may just be that your body is taking longer to adjust back to normal.

Hope that helps!

With my first I didn't get my 1st PPAF until she was almost 3 months. I tried to BF but gave up after 1 week. With my 2nd I BF for 2 months and my 1st PPAF was at 5.5 months. This last time I BF/Pumped until 9 months and my first PPAF was at 12 months....well a few days before. It was on Sept 25 and DD turned 1 on Sept 29. for me it was at least 3 months AFTER I stopped BFing to get my 1st PPAF.
