Fourth you ask? Your body is still full of pregnancy hormones as you adjust to life sleep-deprived with your new baby outside your womb.

It's going to be numb for a while, yet. I am just starting to get normal feeling back in the area of my scar. It took about 3-4 months before I could feel anything, and then it felt weird. It has slowly started to feel more and more normal.

Don't dtd until your bleeding has stopped. Bleeding means you still have an open wound where your placenta was. You need to wait until that is healed before having sex. If you're still bleeding heavily, I would probably call the doc to check. If it's light now, though, and mixed with a lot of clear or yellowish stuff, that sounds pretty normal.

hi mary, your twins are so cute! congrats to u also. :D this was my 3rd section, and i know that numb feeling u are talking about. i had it as well after my first and even though the area got smaller, i still had the numbness for years and it seems i have it again. it will not hurt anything. its just a really werid feeling.

It will feel numb for a while. I don't remember how long it was now, but I do remember early on I was very aware that it felt numb, but as time when on I noticed it less as the numbness faded......but it was over several month's time.

My oldest is 14, then I had another section with my almost 8 yr old & I just had my 3rd two weeks ago. I've always been numb from about my belly button to the incision. Almost the whole area. I just got used to it :?

yes, like jenn said, u get used to it. when they made the incision, nerves were cut and that is the reason this happens, so i was told. i forgot to write it last time. i remember being kind of nervous about it back in the day. now its nothing.

Every once in a while, I still get a little tingly. My OB said it is normal, and as others have said, could continue for a very long time.

I bled heavy for a week, "normal" for 2 weeks, and then very light/spotting for another 2 weeks. I dtd a few days after the spotting stopped. Spotted a little bit the next day and that was it.

I'm sorry you are having a rough recovery! :(

Edited because my first sentence made no sense when I reread it,
