teething already>>is it possible?

Postby Twinklebug » Wed Apr 14, 2010 2:06 pm

I hope not! one of my twins seems to be very fussy, she is drooling a lot, and is eating her shirts and her hand. Could it be possible she is starting to teeth at two months?

My friends baby sprouted a tooth right before they were two months old, so yes it is possible!

I'm going through this problem too. lol I don't know if it's teething or not.

hi twinkle
how are you? yes, it is possible. Well kind of. i went for the twins 2 month check up yesterday. The doc said they started teething, which means their gums are getting harder in preparation. he said they will be putiing their hands more in their mouth now.

My baby has been doing that too, I've been wondering if that's what has been bothering him. He also kind of holds his cheek on one side and seems to grimace in pain...I've been holding off giving him teething stuff, since I figured it surely couldn't be that - but maybe I'll try and see if it helps.

I think my baby is teething too but I too am confused...heck he's been drooling since he was like 3wks old so I knew then it wasn't teething but the drooling is more excessive now. He's always been a finger sucker but when a bottle is not in his mouth he is sucking on his hands....he doesn't like pacifiers, never has. He has been more fussy in the last 2 days (we had a very fussy spell round 4-6wks then he quieted down and slept well till the other day he's 11wks soon) and not nearly as content as before.

I'm also not so sure its teething but I guess its possible. My ma said I had 2 teeth at 4 months and I know another baby who sprouted a tooth at 4 months so I guess even if he is not he could be getting ready to....

dang it I thought I had a couple more months for this lol

I dunno, Jackson started going through a major drooling/chewing on hands phase at around 3 months, and everyone kept telling me he was probably going to be an early teether. But he didn't get his first tooth until 7 months. I'm sure it's possible to get teeth at 2 months, but not as common.

def sounds like teething, though that doesn't mean you're going to see a tooth anytime soon ... Braylie teethed for about 2-3 months before getting her 1st one!
