6 week PP OB appointment question

Postby Autumn2000 » Sun Jun 06, 2010 9:11 am

I can't remember from after my son's birth, but will I have an exam at the 6 week PP OB visit? I don't need a pap so that isn't the case, but if I'm feeling totally fine (have been for weeks I was lucky and didn't tear) is there any reason she'll want to examine me?

It doesn't really matter to me, although maybe I'd consider doing a little trimming today if I'm going to be examined tomorrow ;)

She took a quick peek down there to see how my stitches healed. I'm due for my annual now, but she told me to schedule it next month. And, yes, I did do a little "grooming" before the appointment and I'm glad I did. Lol!

With my first one they did the pap etc even though it wasn't due for 3 more months, just to cover it for another year in one visit.

Like a PP, my MW did some checking to make sure the tear was healing properly.
