UPDATE:

She is finally taking a bottle after so many wasting money on bottles, does anyone know DR. Browns Bottles it is not a nice looking bottle but it works wonders!!!!!! The teat is very very soft almost feel like your nipple guess it is why she is taking it. * THANK GOODNESS NOW I KNOW SHE IS GETTING HER FEED AT THE DAYCARE MOTHER.

Emily is 4months old, about a month ago she started day care only from 1-5h40 (half day).

I am breastfeeding her, now here is my problem, SHE WON'T TAKE A BOTTLE i bought NUK, Tommy Tippee, AVANTE and this cheap teats but she just wont take it, the day care mother said to my today she does not know what to do 'cause emily is hungry and she cries alot.

Now what now???

I know that there are nipples that are shaped like real nipples, maybe that would work? Sorry I'm not much help, just wanted to respond to you.

you could also have the daycare try giving it to her in a cup. Obviously don't hand her a cup of BM and walk away but some babies just don't want the cup.

We struggled with this at first. The only bottle Leah would take was the Playtex Dropins with the latex nipple. It also took a great deal of patience on the part of her care provider. It could take an hour sometimes for her to take a 4 oz bottle.

Update

Postby lullu » Fri Sep 17, 2010 2:20 pm

Thanks you guys, will take any advise, my goodness she screams like hell if i try to give her the bottle that i just take my boob out and give it to her.

I came to a solution. I am a swimming teacher so my hours vary i normally go to work from 14h00 maybe 14h30 till 5hoo instead of taking her to daycare at 12, i will take her on my way to work she will be able to cope without any milk for 3.5hours, atleast just for this year. From 6months onwards she can drink cooldrink from a cup.

Good idea or what

I use a First Response brand that I got from Target.... The Dr brand my son never liked... But this one worked great because it was shaped just like a breast and the way it came out felt like the breast....
