How soon after a c-section can you fly?

Fourth you ask? Your body is still full of pregnancy hormones as you adjust to life sleep-deprived with your new baby outside your womb.

How soon after a c-section can you fly?

My husband's job is really taking off and we are going to need to relocate ASAP. I see my Dr later this week but, was wondering if anyone knew how soon after a c-section you were able to fly. It will be about a 3-4 hour flight.

I'm not sure but I don't think there would be any restrictions on flying. You might ask your doc about the risk of blood clots after a major surgery. But that is the only thing I think would be a concern.

There's no restrictions on flying after a CS that I know of. I had one and my Dr. never said anything about that.
