Sleeping thru the night?

Fourth you ask? Your body is still full of pregnancy hormones as you adjust to life sleep-deprived with your new baby outside your womb.

Sleeping thru the night?

When did your baby start sleeping thru the night? Or at least 6 hours or so? I wanna start a hopeful countdown...

We're not there either. :( But she'll eat and go right back to sleep, so I guess it's not that bad! :D

At about 2 months, maybe a little before. He goes to bed at 8 pm almost on the dot and wakes up at 2am to eat, back to sleep until 5am then we are up for the day. Not too bad.

Ava has slept 6 hours for the past three nights. She doesn't go to bed until around midnight though!

Kendyll was 2 months old when she started sleeping through the night but it's different for all babies. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

Brianna was sleeping 6 hour stretches at around 4 weeks and was STTN (9pm to 6am, wakes up at 6am to eat goes back to bed until around 9 or 10 am) by 2 months. She was always a good sleeper.

Gabrielle goes to bed around 10-10:30, sleeps until 3, eats and then sleeps again until 7-8:45 (it depends). She's a little tough at that middle of the night feeding, but she's been a good sleeper since about 2 weeks.

PS - Generally, the idea is that by 4 - 6 months, they can physiologically sttn - their bellies are big enough to hold enough food to get them through. 6 hours is considered sttn. :)

Between 1-2 weeks, Jason slept for 6 hours at night twice. Then he started waking to eat at night every 3-3.5 hours. However, last night he went to sleep at 12 and slept until 4:30. I fed him and he went back to sleep until almost 9:30 :) I hope it continues!

But, like the others said, every baby is different

my daughter started sleeping thru the night around 7 weeks from 10 -5. She started sleeping until about 7 at about 10 weeks. Around 4 months she stopped though, I think it was a growth spurt and for about a week she would get up around 3 or so. When I got up to feed her I never turned on any lights just had a lamp with a black light bulb in it and fed her and she always went right back to sleep. I hope this baby is as good of sleeper as her big sister! I was spoiled by her!

When she was about a week old she started sleeping for about 5-6hrs at night. The past couple of nights she has been sleeping 7-8hrs. Like last night she ate and went to sleep around 9:30ish and didn't wake up to eat until 5:15, ate and went back to sleep until 8:30. We have been blessed with a good sleeper!

I think Emma started doing better around 7-8 weeks (then it got worse, then better, then worse, then better, etc!)

Well if 6 hours is considered STTN, then Ryan has a few times. This only started about 2 weeks ago. He *usually* goes to bed at 8:30. Then he is up at around 2:30 to eat and then he is up at 7 for the day.
