Vaginal Prolapse Anyone?? Sorry TMI

Fourth you ask? Your body is still full of pregnancy hormones as you adjust to life sleep-deprived with your new baby outside your womb.

Sounds like it. Any kind of strain or heavy lifting definitely makes mine feel worse and I can barely feel it when i'm laying down.

so sorry it took so long to get back .... ittook about 3 months or more... this time around it went quicker because I have made kegals my regular thing, I do it all the time.... Irefuse surgery because I was told it was unlikely but it does happen that it affects your fertility.... hth.

I think I may have prolapse also. Can it be caused from doing to much to soon? I can see soft lumpy tissue too =(....I hope its not permanent.

I have a prolapse of my bladder - I think its called a cytocele. This is self diagnosed, my midwife didn't mention it at my pp checkup ! :? Mine isn't bad at all, but after I exercise it is worse, which makes me angry cause I really want to lose those last few pounds! I am kegaling LOTS which is helping. I am a little nervous about my next birth though.

Oh, and if you are thinking having one has anything to do with having an epi or other medications, or pushing too long - well, I had no pain meds and only pushed for 25 or 30 mins, so I think prolapses happen in all sorts of situations!

I thought maybe that's why mine happened also but who knows. I'm just going to do my best to remember to do plenty of kegals and hope it get significantly better before my gyno appt in January.

Brooke - thanks for letting me know how long it took. How many kegals are you doing to keep things right (if you don't mind me asking)?
