OK, I'm freaking out here...

Postby huntjumpsc » Sat Jan 03, 2009 6:02 am

I've been back on birth control for 18 days now (the Seasonique). I haven't had any kind of bleeding for that long or maybe longer other than some occasional brownish discharge. This morning, just now when I woke up, I felt something wet down there and went and checked. I socked through my underwear and my panty girdle with fresh blood. There was also a quarter size blob of tissue in the toilet.
I put in a regular tampon since my doc has released me back to normal activities. My husband and I finally had sex about 3 nights ago. Do you think this is leftover bleeding & maybe we knocked something loose from my c-section? Is this my period, even though I'm on birth control? My periods are normally light, so this has me freaked out. I have had no cramping or discomfort, just this gush of blood. I haven't had this much since right after Daniel was born and I'm a bit worried...
Baby Daniel arrived November 25th via c-section! 7lb5oz, 19.5 inches & absolutely perfect!
The baby weight is gone, plus another 7 lbs and the breast reduction recovery is complete!

Ok I am going to admit that I did add a little soap to the peri bottle a while PP (2 weeks?) and that made a world of difference!!! And I am still going to admit that I still use the peri bottle after peeing sometimes.... - I discovered that it is a nice way to make sure you are nice and clean after peeing! (I guess it is not much different than having a bidet (the special toilet thing that rinses you after you use the washroom)

Anyhow - my husband came up with the idea to use the pressure washer thing on the shower hand (if you have a hand held one) - and give a good rinse down there - it also helps if you are itchy too in that area while you are healing from stitches)
