What's the BEST Diaper in Size 3 for 6mos old Baby?

Postby mspretty » Mon Apr 19, 2010 12:45 am

My Cy is 6mos today and I'm having an issue finding a good diper for her... We have always used Pampers Swaddlers but i'ts hard to find them in size 3. So we decided to try Huggies and she leaked through them now I'm contemplating returning them to Costco. We NEVEr had a leak problem w/Pampers

What Diaper Brand/Kind do you prefer and Why???

TIA! :)

I buy my diapers from Costo and find that Huggies fit good - a little bit but good. The Costo brand fit small. I have had no leaks with the huggies so far and my little guy will 6 months next week.

We use the Fisher Price Happy Days and LOVE LOVE LOVE them!!! I used Huggies with DS (he used to leak right out of pampers, and was allergic to luvs). But DD leaks right out of the Huggies. She's still in size 2 at 8 months but we have NEVER had a leak (pee or poop!)
You can only find them at Babies r us, or Toys r us ( or online at these stores) but they always have size 3 available where we are. And once you hit size 3, they have "Good Nights" overnight diaper.

we have tried a few different brands (not Huggies though) and always come back to Pampers cuz we get leaks in anything else.

depending on your LO's weight you may be able to get away with the Swaddler 2-3's for a little while if those are easier to find?

We use LUVS. We get a huge case from BJ's for $30.00. I have never had a leak or blow out. I HATE pampers with a passion. My girls always feel damp in them.

We loved the swaddlers, but can only find Pampers Baby Dry in size 3. They smell like baby powder (yuck) AND they leak.

We like the Costco ones, but they do run a little small.

Huggies have worked the best for us.

Huggies overnights have been a blessing at night as well. His diaper was absolutely soaked and heavy the other morning, but his PJs and sheet were dry.

I've tried other brands (Huggies, LUVS, and Target) and I always come back to Pampers Baby Dry---

I cloth diaper during the day, and so the only time I use sposies is overnight---DS sometimes goes 12 hours without a change and I've never once had a leak---

And he's not even at the 16lb weight limit for size three (which I'm already using) and still no leaks.

We were using Pampers Swaddlers, but they don't have those in size 4 so switched to Pampers Baby Dry. To this day, have yet to have a blowout.

I tried Huggies and for the very first time she had leaks... my poor baby was soo wet in the am. I returned them immed never again!!! I went bck and purchased Pampers Cruisers but looks like I will stick to Pampers Baby Dry since it looks like the majority rules :) It was hard letting go of the size 2 swaddlers :(

Thanks Ladies!

IDK where u live, but HEB has the best diapers ever! They are the only ones that I've tried that don't ever leak at night.

your daughter is gorgeous!!!!

I dont know why no one has mentioned this.. haha. but Pampers swaddlers dont make a size 3.. It is a 2-3 then size 3 is the cruisers!!!!

I like huggies but they are very bulky on my baby. I am going to switch her to pampers baby dry when we run out of huggies.

Mason was always in pampers..

Luvs here too and we have never had a blowout, i tried huggies but they seem so bulky and I didn't like how the pampers fit in sizes past new born.
