Camping with baby

I'm planning to go camping this summer and lo will be 7 months. Am I crazy or not? Any suggestions on what are must haves?

Oh fun! DH and I are thinking of doing the same thing when LO is 8 months. We have a playyard that folds up nicely. But I think what is really going to help is the netting we got to put over it. That way LO can be outside with us but not get the bugs and stuff that falls from the trees! Goodluck!

We took DS camping when he was 9 months and it was a lot of fun. We took a pack n play and also a booster seat that we were able to attach to the picnic table

We started with DD#1 at 3 months and DD#2 will be around that age on her 1st trip too.

Some of the things that we brought that helped were

1. Pack n play with netting for naps
2. Rubbermaid container for baths if you are camping where there are no showers.
3. Mitts and Hats and warm sleepers, socks work in a pinch if you don't have mitts.
4. We bought a portable camping bed for her, it's awesome and can't wait to use it with dd#2.
5. Sun hats
6. Large umbrella in case you can't find shade, we've camped in some crappy spots that weren't very treed.

That's all I can think of for now...
