I have doubled up on the monitors....LOL. I bought a little thing called a Snuza Halo baby monitor that hooks to the babies diaper or pants...its a little smaller than a pager and it has a sensor on it that will gently vibrate if there is no movement or breathing for 15 seconds and then if nothing after it vibrates(5 seconds later) it sounds and alarm! It also has this clicking feature you can turn up so you can hear every breath and every movement without touching the baby or opening the door completely to check on baby. To double things up I bought a regular monitor and put it in her room so now I just listen on the reciever for the clicks anywhere in the house and make sure no alarm sounds!! I frikin love it and highly recomend it if you are a worry wart like me...its helped ease my mind so much!!!! :D :D :D :D

(I bought this because my baby refuses to sleep anyway but on her belly and it scares the crap out of me 8O )

Hi, my name is felicia and i a paranoid parent!

I bought an angelcare monitor. Similar to what you have but there is a censor pad you place under the mattress and an alarm sounds if there is no motion. (breathing included) and red lights flash...

It's wonderful. Sometimes I'll take Isaiah out of his crib and forget to turn it off and start to walk away and the alarm will sound!! LOL!! Talk about a split second of terror... then I realize I'm holding my kid!!

LOL....my brother had one of those for his baby and he said the same thing....he would get up at night to feed her and forget to shut it off and it would sound scaring the shit out of them....hahahahaha! I looked into getting one of those but then found this little thing and it had great ratings........not one person had anything negative to say about it....I love it....these kinda of tings make you feel so much better at night or naptime....lol!!! I wish they would have had them when my other 2 were babies! 8O

I have the AngelCare too. We were just using it for naps because baby was sleeping by us in her pack and play at night, but then it got where I couldn't sleep at night for listening to her breathe, so now we have the crib in our room so I can hear the "ticks."
