Is it me or does anyone else think its wrong for companies to make clothes for babies with skulls on them. I mean come on. That and clothes that it looks like a 15 year old should be wearing. I want to keep my ds little, he is only 11 mos old and there are clothes and hats at The Childrens Place store with Skulls on it his size and I just got an email for babies r us of Amy Coe clothes with skulls on it. I thinks its just wrong and I refuse to buy that crap. I need to become a designer of baby/kids clothes.

Yeah, this gets on my nerves, too. It just seems tacky and creepy to me to be associating a child with death. I know skull prints are really popular right now, but i'm not a fan.

I actually have an Amy Coe onesie with a pastel purple skull on it for DD at the 6-9mos. size *shrug*

Of course...I love this website (http://www.punkbabyclothes.net/ )and can't WAIT to get her the "Zombie Slayer" onesie with matching neon green tutu.

There are some skull baby clothes that I definitely don't like because they ARE morbid though. It depends on the design for me cause some look more "cute rocker baby" and some are just creepy and icky.

A friend of mine just bought skull clothes for her kid.

I dunno. They don't really bother me, but I wouldn't purchase them, either.

I have a few outfits for my lo. I think that some of them are cute. I agree that some of them are just too out there to be for an infant. To each his own I guess.

Depending on how they're incorporated, I think they can be cute! DS got a swim outfit from his 18-year-old aunt for Christmas. There's a little skull on the rashguard and the trunks and I love them. I think they're from TCP too.

eta - I think this one's a pirate skull so maybe not so creepy?

Some people love them...

but I am with you. I can't stand it. I would *never* put skulls on my child...infant or older. I don't think i will allow it until much older (like, I'm thinking, 16 or something), and even that is iffy...but I'm willing to wait until we get there to make a decision on that. lol
