vaccines question

Postby HappyCianci » Mon May 30, 2011 7:23 pm

My son got his 2 month vaccinations on Friday and today (Monday) he has had 4-5 loose, mucusy stools (sorry). Before this he was pooping once a day. The info sheet for the vaccines said the rotavirus one can cause diarrhea but I was just wondering if it's normal to happen several days after the vaccine, or if I should look into another cause?

Thanks in advance...

My DD always had this for about a week after recieving the rotovirus vaccine. If it is any consolation, it is an indication that the vaccine was effective and he is developing immunity. Don't worry Momma!
