Hardwood floors

Postby NansMomma » Wed Jan 11, 2012 7:15 pm

I have a crawler and, hard wood floors.

Every so often she stumbles and bounces her poor head off the hardwood. I mean, we have a carpet down, but it does not soften the blows much at all.

Any ideas as to make those falls less painful for little miss?

we have hardwood floors as well and we just let DS learn that they are hard. I was there, watching and quick to soothe when he really did hurt himself. But what I did was train myself to clap and smile when he fell. 99% of the time, he was fine, no tears. They are more resilient than we imagine. :D

I'm getting those foam floors for his playroom. Ya know the ones that are like puzzle pieces? For the rest of the house...I'm sure he'll figure it out...
