DH and I went out to eat about a week after the girls were born. My MIL and FIL came over to stay with them. In my case though it wasn't because I needed time away from the girls, I need out of the house! 3 months of bedrest was my motivation.

Bella is almost 6 months and we haven't left her yet. We take her with us everywhere. We enjoy our family time! :D I did leave her with dh for about 2 hrs back in may, that's when he decided I needed to be a sahm!!!

I left DD with DH for my 6 week PP appt. So I voted for 8 weeks. We had a babysitter at 8 weeks for a dinner out.

I put 10 wks plus even though she's not that old yet it will be at least that long. I don't know why but I feel more protective of her than I did my first child, maybe it's bc she's a girl or maybe it's bc I just don't want to miss anytime with her, they get big so fast.

When my youngest was 4 weeks old I left her and her odler sister (not 2 at the time) with my DH so I could go shopping with my SIL. I went back to work full time when she was 7 weeks old so my kids stay with their Nana.

Jack was 5 months when we went out to dinner without him for the first time. I think we were back in about 40 minutes though. We've only left him one other time (for about 4 hours) with my SIL so we could see a concert. I wish I'd stayed home. I just really don't really FEEL like going anywhere without him. I wonder how long I'll be like that? I'm amazed at my friend's who work and go on 5 day business trips and leave their lil ones with a nanny- I'd live/do ANYTHING so I wouldn't be in the position. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

Riley was 5 months old when I left him with his daddy for 45 minutes to run to JoAnn's fabric store!!! He was much older when I left him for any significant amount of time, but now I'm much more comfortable leaving him with his daddy or grandma so i can get a break!

 I must be a bad mommy cause I left Kieran and the girls when he was about 2 weeks old to go out to dinner with my DH. Of course I left him with my mom but have left him several times with my girlfriend to run errands. I know he is in good hands so it doesn't bother me a bit.

We left Lauren with my mom and MIL when she was about 3 weeks, and then again at 6 weeks. I have also left her with DH quite a few times. Its almost impossible to go anywhere with her by myself so I either have to leave her with DH, or he has to go with me. She is one high maintenance little girl!

For more than 10 minutes? That'd be 7 + months. She went to Walmart with her daddy Wednesday without me. They were back in 30 minutes though. I haven't left her with anyone other than DH for more than just 10 minutes to run to the grocery store, and that was with my parents.

Left her with my mother so I could meet up with my work friends at happy hour. Inlaws are coming over Sat so DH and I can have a night out. Looking very forward to it. With DD 1 we left her starting at 6 weeks for a date night and ever since then we have been breaking away one sat evening per month for the two of us. We plan on starting that tradition back this weekend.

Béla and I ran 5 minutes up the road, left BB with his parents when they were here and that about killed me, lol. He's a month old and I'm not ready to leave him alone. Last night I laid down on the couch to watch TV and had to bring him out of the bedroom to me because I didn't like him sleeping so far away from me. I'm not ready

Isabel is 3 weeks and we haven't left her yet but I think we will in a week or 2. It would be nice for DH and I to have a little date night sometime soon :)

I know I will probably be a nervous wreck the first time we leave her though!~
