Crib/Toddler bed issue

Postby booboo » Fri Feb 27, 2009 10:35 am

Crazy kids!!

Emma started climbing INTO Addison's crib at night, and they are waking me up in the morning with their screaming/playing. I am worried she will try to climb out (or Addison was learn to climb out), so I think it is time to retire the crib until baby Grace arrives in July.

I think Addison will be okay in a toddler bed, since she sleeps on a mat at daycare. However, she's such a good sleeper now that I dont want to disrupt that.

Should I:

1) put 2 toddler beds in the nursery and let them torment each other in the mornings
2) move Emma into the office and keep Addison in her crib for a few more months

I voted to keep them together....mainly because even though it annoys you in the morning, they are used to be together and I would worry that separating them may negatively impact their sleep.

I remember somebody else having that same problem with the older sister climbing into the younger ones crib..I think it was Amanda. Anyways...she got a crib tent, and that was the end of it!

I would get the crib tent. But if that is not an option, I would keep them together.

I was also going to suggest the crib tent (this will prevent them from getting out of their crib)
