Another diaper question...

Postby MrsLewis907 » Tue Oct 20, 2009 3:15 pm

I'm thinking of getting some overnight diapers for Evann...about 1/2 the nights out of a week, he wakes up with his clothes damp on the front from so much pee (belly sleeper).

Which work better, pampers or huggies overnight diapers??

I use cloth most of the time but when I do use disposables I would choose pampers over huggies. I hate huggies!!!

eta- We dont have either pampers or huggies overnights over here, just the regular ones, so my vote may not count lol :)

Unfortunately, J wears size 6 now and they don't make overnights in size 6. But if they did I prefer pampers products.

I use LUVs during the day and Huggies overnights for the night. I've tried Pampers couple times before and he just seems to always leak through. Also, I buy the night diapers one size bigger. So while he's been in size 4 during the day, I give him Overnights size 5 for the night. He's all diaper then but since he likes to drink sometimes a lot during the night, they are the only ones that seem to do the trick!

I've never used the Huggies overnights, but we do use the Pampers overnights and like them. I switch between Luvs and Pampers during the day (when we're not using cloth) and Luvs definitely seem to leak MUCH MUCH more. I'm actually not going to buy any more of them - Pampers for us from now on. Good thing we don't use disposables very often!!!

I LOVE the Huggies Overnites - I have never had a single leak with them. I did switch and try the Pampers Overnites but DD kept leaking through them! They were horrible. And I am a total Pampers girl (I usually hate Huggies) but they (Huggies) really made a good overnite product.

We use Huggies Overnights. I have tried the Pampers Extra Protection but I dont think there is much difference between them and the Pampers Baby Dry...if you read the package they both provide what they say is up to 12 hours of protection. I have had leaks from them and I dont like them for night time use. But I LOVE the Huggies Overnights. No leaks from them yet!!

We use Huggies Overnites. They hold everything in for my 2.5 year old. They never leak. Pampers are probably very similar, so try them both (or whichever is cheaper) and see which ones you like.

I'm just curious Laura, do you use the correct size for your DD or do you go up a size since they are for overnight?
