Yeah. I'm one of the lucky ones whose postpartum bleeding stopped at 6 weeks and AF came one week later, even with exclusive BF. :?

I breastfed for 6 months, but the last 3 I had to supplement quite a bit. After I stopped bfing I got back on the pill and that is when I got my first af. So it wasn't a natural af. I would have thought since I supplemented for so long, I would have gotten it back. Strange! I think we are all so different, it is hard to guage! Good luck!

I got first PPAF at 5 months PP. DD was nursing every 2 hours during the day and STTN. She always has STTN so that didn't play a role in it.

My PPAF's have been very irregular though. Since May I've only had 3 AF's and they're only 2 days long.

My PPAF has been different with each child. DD1 was 6 months old when I got it, DD2 was 9 months old, and DS was 12 months. I don't get what determines it to come back because all three of my kids were on very similar sleep/BF/solid food schedules, so I just don't know!

I got my first AF on Noah's actual 1st birthday! Pretty wild coincidence if you ask me! I was actually happy to see proof of ovulation...so there is a chance I might have a 2nd child. I'm on the older side...and my chances are slim at this point...but now at least I know there is some chance!

I got my first PPAF about 8 months pp. Then it stopped and I just got it again last sunday. At 8 months Phoenix was basically EBF. She barely ate solids. In about the last month she's started eating more solids but she still BF about 6 times a day but not for as long as she used to. The longest nursing sessions are at nap time and bed time. Oh, and she nurses throughout the night for short periods.

With M: pp af came back at 11 months. She had been sttn for more than 4 months, and was still nursing 6x a day.

With Leo, 7 months pp and still waiting. He just started solids a couple weeks ago, and is nursing at least once a night.

Wow a lot of variability.
I'll be happy to see mine b/c when we decided to TTC and I stopped BC, BC had totally screwed me up I was so irregular practically not Oing- it was hard to get preggo.
So, I'm hoping I'll be back to normal after giving birth. :?

I got AF at exactly 18 mos PP, and my LO is a milky-monster! (still) The most we go at night in between feedings now is about 4 hours but usually it's about 2-3 at best.

Yes, I would love to be STTN at this point. 8O
