Postby jamie81 » Sat Jun 18, 2011 5:34 am

Can anyone give me some advice on how to get DD (13mos) to let me brush her teeth. Everytime I try she closes her mouth and shakes her head  TIA!!!!

I just give Joey the toothbrush with a little bit of orajel tooth/gum cleanser paste and let him chew on the brush. I brush my teeth at the same time and he will watch me. Then I kind of take the brush and try and help a little. Mostly I just let him be independent with it.

We sing the toothbrush song which consists of the word "brush" repeated in time with various songs. Elaborate and make some of the notes exciting and fun.
