Anyone else have trouble with huggies diapers?

Postby benney » Wed Jun 22, 2011 6:54 pm

I recently tried them again. I never really liked them in the past. I decided to try them again cause I have coupons for them. And I wish I would of just paid the full price for the Pampers cruisers I have been buying. My ds has leaks every night and sometimes even naps with the huggies. I never have this problem with the pampers cruisers but pampers coupons are hard to come by. I havent tried luvs in awhile but I dont have coupons for them either. O'well guess I will be paying full price for the pampers. I just went and bought a small pack to use at night and for naps till I am out of the big box of huggies I bought. Does anyone know if pampers cruisers are cheaper at sams club. I havent really checked there, guess I will have to stop and see.

We have had the opposite problem. Pampers suck, huggies rock (in our house).

Totally agree with this. It is all about the Huggies or the Luvs in our house.

Yup, we're a Huggies family too. Is your DS on the cusp of a bigger size? Maybe they're too small?

Wow. I'm surprised at the responses. I guess it just must be us with the huggies problem.

And its not the size either cause when I boutght the huggies I went up a size cause it seemed like he may need to move up. Now I will say that regular pampers I dont like. I only like the pampers cruisers, there is a difference between them. I just wish I could find more coupons for pampers but I am going to try luvs again although I dont have coupons for those either.

Weird, we use Huggies and only Huggies here. I stopped using Pampers after the whole drymax issue :dunno:

We use cloth, but recently we went on a cruise and tried several different kinds of disposables thanks to friends giving us a few of each to try out before we bought a pack (pampers cruisers, pampers sensitives, huggies p&n, huggies little movers, luvs, target, kirklands). For the price, I thought the Target brand diapers were the best and my next favorite were the pampers sensitive. We did have leaks with the Huggies p&n but not the little movers. I thought the cruisers and luvs smelled gross when wet or poopy.

How about Huggies overnites? That's what we have to use at night.

I have boycotted Huggies since they have added this "leak lock" to their dipes. We had great luck with them though.

Since not using the "blue stuff" in the Huggies, I have switched to Fisher Price Happy Nights and LOVE them. Luvs smells gross, and Pampers, well the Dry Max issue kept me from them. My only problem with the FP is that they only come in 16 count and I can only find the JUST night dipes at BRU and shipping is expensive. :(

We cloth diaper, but we use disposables at night, and we do NOT like the Huggies. For some reason, our kids always manage to poop out the back in them. They feel really rough. I probably also like the pampers better because they're softer and feel more like cloth. If you go to pampers.com or pampers FB, sometimes you can ask them to mail you coupons or have printable ones. I recently got a $4.00 off cruisers coupon, but I can't remember if it was from their FB or regular website.

We use Pampers. I didn't like Huggies for my girls.

The closest thing I've find to Pampers are Luvs. They are our 2nd choice for the diapers and they're cheaper so that's a plus.

We CD as well but do use sposies for overnight and the occasional use. We use Pampers Easy Ups. They are a bit more expensive than diapers but if we are out and about, it's easier to change her while she is standing in a public bathroom or in the car. She can just step in instead of me worrying about a clean place for her to lie down.

We really like the Easy Ups though. We had one leak but it was b/c DH didn't change her when he should've and the diaper was just too full.

+1, except I never even attempted Pampers after hearing some Drymax horror stories. All Huggies all the time in our home.
