Feeding the dogs???

Postby jamie81 » Wed Jun 29, 2011 6:23 pm

DD (14mos) LOVES to sit in her high chair and throw food off for the dogs 8O. Just wondering if anyone else has suggestions as to what might get her to stop. I know the obvious answer is to keep the dogs outside while she eats but she still throws food down and waits for them to come in. I try telling her no but that doesn't work very well  TIA!!!

We recently rehomed our dogs but while we had them, they were not allowed in the room while DD ate. They minded well.
I take food away if it is getting thrown. That means she is done eating for now and we can try again later if she didn't eat much.

My girls did the same thing. I started keeping the dog out and when they would throw their food anyway I took it away. Must have worked, they don't feed him anymore.
