Wall letters for nursery

Postby littlerody » Wed Jun 20, 2007 3:26 pm

I made some wall letters for friend who just had a baby. I bought the wall letters from Michaels and then painted them and stamped them. Sophie's room has a Bee theme so I made sure I stamped bees on them. They will be hung with ribbon. I also made a photo frame to match - it has a saying on it "A little bee whispered to me that you are very special" So cute.

Those are so gosh darn cute! You should start a little side business doing ones to match popular nursery themes!

Just a warning...I too bought mine from Michaels and sanded them, painted them a base colour and according to them at the store, bought the foam stamps and acrylic paint to dip the stamps in....well let me say I painted over mine and left them plain. They looked awful!! I think this person used ink, therefore didn't have the globbs and messy stamps on the letters. Goes to show you, they might work there, but it doesn't mean they know what they are doing!!
