I decided to make them to keep me busy this first week of maternity leave, but i got so excited making them that i finished them in one day. :lol:

No secret really... other than be patient and not aftraid to start over if it doesn't turn out "perfect."
I bought the wooden letters at michael's, applied 2 coats of white acrylic paint, painted each letter with the design i wanted (I used different objects around the house to make the different size circles), then i coated them with glossy mod-podge. The ribbons are hot-glued to the back and then nailed into the wall.
