Baby name wall letters

Postby Ahavati » Fri Mar 28, 2008 5:58 am

I finished mine now. I have a little touch up work to do but they are generally done, need to add the ribbon too. What do ya'll think? I like them but i don't, something about the is bugging me and I don't know what. I feel like repainting them and making them all the same. Any suggestions? Her room is going to be Pink, Green, Brown and Cream.

The striped ones have rhinestones on them. they actually all do but the striped ones are bigger. I'm thinking for taking them off...

They look fantastic, don't second guess yourself. They are really well done. Brown ribbon would probably look best as long as the walls are light. There is a touch of brown in all of them so it would bring the whole thing together. The rhinestones are a nice touch. Good job.

Hmmm, I had bought cream color ribbon, but I really like the idea of brown. I think it would look a lot better! Thanks ladies!!

I love them and I love the color scheme. I'm probably going to do pink and brown if our LO is a girl. The green adds a really pretty touch. What color are you painting the walls?

I'm not completely sure yet as we are moving into a house in June. So I want to get a feel for the room first. I was thinking a cream color on top, with stripes on the bottom. Various size stripes of the other three colors maybe. But I'm not sure yet...

Before I read that you painted them, I was going to ask where you bought them. They're gorgeous. It must be even more satisfying knowing you painted them yourself!

Oh wow! How did you make those??? Did you buy the letters and then painted them? Please tell me how you did it - I've been looking everywhere for nice letters and can't find any!!!! I was thinking of making my own but I'm not quite sure how...

Great job! Don't change a thing!

LOVE the letters they look amazing, as for ribbon what if you got a thick brown ribbon, and layered the cream ribbon on top of it for contrast? KUP and let us see pics when you are finished please!
