I bought my stuff at Ikea - pieces from the Leksvik collection. I got a small dresser with detachable change table top, a wardrobe and a narrow shelving unit with a couple of drawers. There is a crib as well that converts to a toddler bed and also a toy box that I will probably pick up as well.

I was going to order from JcPenny but it was $300 in shipping, becuase the items were to big to ship to the store, so they told me they would have to hire an independent trucking co. No thanks......thats too much money, when you are allready spending $1000 on furniture from them.

Ick! The furniture I was going to get from them was available to be delivered to the store. However, it was constantly on backorder. It just got ridiculous so I ended up looking elsewhere.

I've been checking out CraigsList lately for baby furniture and have been pleasantly surprised to see what people are selling. I'm sure the amount of selection depends on where you live (I'm in a pretty large city), but I'm seriously considering buying my furniture off of there secondhand once nursery time gets closer.

My furniture is coming from my Mom and Grandma...I get to pick...so probably BRU or my grandma wants to go to some expensive place by her house...so we'll see what they have too, but if she wants me to get it there, she's paying...

Ours was a gift from grandma/pa...a dark cherry crib and dresser, it was ordered online from walmart and delivered to the store for free. We love it :) I found a brand new cherry changing table from target, still in the box..at goodwill for $30 8O If they hadn't bought the furn..I think I'd look on craigslist..you can find very nice items on there for cheap sometimes and I'm a big bargain hunter!
