Can you mix the two? Sugar Plum has pinks, purples and burgundies, and is a really beautiful set. It features butterflies too, which are really cute for a girls room.

This is what it looks like:

Can you use lavendar to cut the darkness of the purple - just to soften it up with pastel pink?

I'm such a pink girl, I would gravitate more towards pink. that's just me, though.

Can you post a pic? Sounds like a pretty combonation. We went the other way and picked out the bedding and border, then matched the paint colors to that.

I am using the sugar plum bedding set for my little girls nursery and we purchased the rug and the light switch cover last week to match paint colors and i think that set is more pink than purple, at least what I have of it. It looks alot more purple online but in person it has alot more pinks. Theres another bedding set called blossoms thats really pretty too if you can find that. I saw it at the store and it was adorable, it had alot of pink in it!!! :D

Im thinking I just wanna buy a breathable bumper and have my mother in law make me a blanket unless I find some bedding that goes good with those colors. I want a breathable bumper regardless but I would love some cute bedding too.

Okay so its been awhile since Iposted about how my nursery is going. Since we moved her room is no longer bright pink. Just white. But heres pics of how it looks so far. I plan on doing her wall letters this weekend. Theres also a few things I need to pick up to accessorize her room more. But this is how it looks so far.
