Our GN nursery- pic heavy

Postby hopefullymommy » Sun Jan 25, 2009 1:13 pm

We finished our nursery (as much as we can) today :D I know I'm still early- but we started making the nursery and baby items a long time ago. We decided to do the nursery up for our nieces and nephew we keep often. I started painting over the summer, but never finished- so DW did :D We still need to get the foam tile floor we want, and wooden letters, and I'd like to put something on the green closet door. Plus I'm sure there will be things here and there I will want to add  (And we are not finding out the gender of the baby!)

This is the wall above the crib where I will do wooden letters. (Either 'miracle" "precious" or "blessing")

I didn't have anything else to put in the diaper stacker

Top 2 shelves are larger blankets, bottom is receiving blankets, 2nd shelf up is extra crib sheets

Diaper bags, the zipped thing is a play mat

This bag has 3 different carriers in it, and the seat to our exersaucer

So... any suggestions? How do things look?

:D I don't have everything But that's not to say that if we had a baby tomorrow we couldn't get by. :P We still need a bouncer (someone put the cover to ours through the dryer and it shrunk :x ), and a swing, a snuggle nest, breast pump, and quite a few other things, they just aren't HUGE things

You are ready wow! Love the duckies. Drooling at all the diapers. I love the blanket that your DW's daughter made too. I noticed a bit of hard wood in the room. Have you thought of taking that throughout?

Are you talking about the plywood on the floor? We put that down for painting... the floor is actually a really ugly tile. We want to get foam tile for the floor because
A) The room is sooo tiny and there isn't room to move things to vacuum carpet.
B) We want something easy to keep up.
C) It's softer than regular tile.
D) It's cheap and easily replaced.

:D I hope that's what you meant.

I dont know it looked like hardwood in front of the dresser and diapers. Sometimes pictures look different then IRL.

Yeah :) That is just some plywood we threw down while painting :D Thanks for the idea, though :D
