Ambiguous loss

Postby PixieB » Sat Nov 24, 2007 4:11 pm

I found this article quite a while ago. I was just posting a link to it to another thread when I realised it would be rather appropriate for the parents here too. Have a read of it. It's about grieving the loss of the pregnancy/ birth/ healthy baby that you'd wanted, whilst still having the "joy" of a living child. That we didn't lose our babies so can't grieve fully, yet also that if your baby is in NICU you can't fully be a parent either.

Could this possibly be added as a sticky, or an article link for the site? I think it's relevant.
