can I refuse u/s?

Postby mrsjoh » Mon Sep 29, 2008 2:46 pm

they said it is important that I get them every 2 weeks now, I am just so sick of getting some stupid news that the u/s thinks is wrong. Before it was the cleft palette, now the u/s dr says maybe craniosynostosis, "a condition where the sutures close too early, causing problems with normal brain and skull growth. Premature closure of the sutures may also cause the pressure inside of the head to increase and the skull or facial bones to change from a normal, symmetrical appearance."

midwife says it can't really be diagnosed until after birth, so why can't this u/s dr just shut up, write it on her little report for the dr and not stress an already stressed out mom to be who is already preparing for major heart surgery for her baby et etc etc.. icon_angry.gif dh almost lost it on her, and if we go , WE WILL LET HER KNOW TO SHUT UP and it won't be pleasant

sorry to be so b-otchy, i am just done with these effing people
