Girls, have anyone considered that?
After IUI's and IVF's we are doing embryo adoption! Just curious if someone is on the same boat?
It took us about 5 years: 7 IUI's, 2 IVF's, 1 FET, 2 M/C's and finally pregnant after embryo adoption and FET! DS born May 2011
Pregnant again after FET. Due in November 2014!

I am. I'm 43 years old and really 'out of time' and money to do anymore IVF's. Back in May I received a surprise email from someone who had been following my journey & wanted to offer us their 9 embryos, they were done having their family. I was so overwhelmed & touched with the idea and it helped me emotionally during my last IVF knowing I had this beautiful gift to fall on.

Long story short, our last IVF didn't work so I got things rolling immediately with the embryo donation. During this time she gave birth (early) to her twins. Then I got the email. She said they had a change of heart. They rethought their donation and no longer wished to do so. They weren't sure anymore if they were going to have any more children. I was crushed beyond words and still a week later I walk around in a fog.

I've called around trying to find resolution with clinics who could help me but to no avail. I even joined an embryo 'matching' web site since then but nothing has come up. So I thought I'd come over on the pg side and see if anyone might be thinking of donating theirs. Not a question I feel comfortable asking. I just feel I'm at the point where if I don't look around and see and ask, that I might miss another person who has been thinking about donating their frozen embryos to another couple in need.

Please PM if you have any advice or are one of those couples looking to donate in the near future.

God Bless.
