There was one momma in my ddc that had to have a stitch and she did deliver several weeks early but her little girl was/is perfect and healthy.

This is something that I've been worried about too since having my cerclage placed. I'm also using 17p injections to help keep my uterus quiet. The one reassuring thing for me has been that my cervix is now measuring longer than it ever has before. As an OB nurse, I've seen several patients with a cerclage make it to term or at least not deliver super early. Hopefully, you'll be able to keep that little one in there and cooking for a while yet!

I'm a prem mum, and whilst I didn't need a stitch (my prem came due to a crappy placenta) I do know mamas who have had them for pregnancies following their prem pregnancy. Most have made it to, or close to full term.

The stitch is a good thing. Every extra week it keeps your baby baking the stronger they are and the less likely they'll land in NICU.

And did I read that right; you have no cervix? What implications does that have for your pregnancy?
Talia Grace: born Friday 13th of July, 2007, at 27w4d gestation, 700g/1.5lbs. Nursed for 4 years
and Violet Joy: born Thursday 19th, VBAC waterbirth, 39w2d, 3.35kg/7lbs 6oz, still a booby monster, just shared it with her big sister for 18 months.
