Postby amanda52203 » Wed Mar 31, 2010 7:05 pm

We were just diagnosed with this last night. The baby is in there and his/her little heart beat is strong. I'm just praying that he/she sticks though this with us.

Thank you in Advance

Hey there - I had this at 8 weeks with triplets, and I was just sure that I was going to lose one or all of my babies. By about 10 weeks this had resolved itself. The main thing you can do is rest rest rest and drink tons of water. I will pray for you and your babies! Ask the Lord to protect your LO and heal you, and I know He will! Please pm me if you have any questions. I was scared to death when I had this and didn't know anyone that had it, and the girls on here that had it in the past really helped relieve my fears. Hang in there and TRUST GOD!

Hi Amanda,

HERE is what you NEED to do.
I had Sub Chroinic bleed and it was real bad, I rested and it went away then again came back. It was a gush I can never forget in my life, it truly ROCKED my world after having acheived my pregnancy after TTCing for 2 years....Now My baby girl is one year old, she stuck in there with the HELP OF PROGESTRONE SHOTS !!!!!!

NOT many Dr.s do this.....Sub chroinics are caused early in pregnancy, and hence Dr.s prefer not to do anything about it, thinking it may not be a viable pregnancy. But the progestrone shots and suppositories rebuild the wall that is falling around the clot.
look for a Ob that is ready to give u the progestrone shots..... I Found a OB who did it for me, and saved my baby girl here in the bay area Dr. Nadine Graven. I was waiting, sitting and resting at home when the assitant called me in, and I was bleeding YET took the trip to the dr.s office n got the shot....The shot stopped the bleeding...and tappered it into the brown stale discharge which was fine.... no more fresh blood....Please take progestrone some how or the other.
If u r an IVFer then it is probably sitting in your closet.
All the best n I pray for you amanda ..... May god be with u in this difficult time, may the baby/Babies sick !

One more thing.... You already have high progestrone I see, the extra progestrone will not have a bad effect on the baby, just in case u get worried about that.
I see u are an IVFer..... may be u had had asprin. Asprin is notorious at causing this bleed.
all this did not do any bad to my baby girl by the grace of god she is fine...so dont worry, rest rest rest, drink tons of water u want that uterus all rested and do what I suggested.
And ask for Turbutaline if U contract after a gush....turbutaline is never given so early... but I was given, I used it and my uterus was relaxed..no contractions not disturbance...it healed itself.
take care dear

I had this with my youngest daughter and ended up having two bleeding episodes with it. Most likely your body will reabsorb that hematoma. Take it easy for a while! I am sure things will be fine!
