Cathy - BabyCenter says 3rd trimester begins at 28 weeks, most other resources I've seen say 27 weeks. Common sense says 40 weeks divided by 3 would be 26 weeks and 5 days or so. Interestingly enough, BabyCenter's dates are also ahead: All calculators I've used start with LMP 12/3/10 and end with EDD 9/9/10. As of today, BabyCenter has me at 27w2d; another calculator (http://www.baby2see.com/trimester_calculator.html) has me at 25w1d (with 3rd tri beginning 6/8-6/13, depending on method of calculation) and the Birth Center has me at 26w0d.

So as far as trimesters go, when BabyCenter has me at 28w, the Birth Center will have me at 26w5d, which would be the logical start date for the 3rd trimester. So I'm going with BC's 28-week date for picture-taking purposes, as it corresponds with the Birth Center's dates :D

Since Ju/Ju Too is still measuring a full week ahead, I'm not counting on any calendar dates, though - I'll just go with the flow whenever he/she decides to make a grand entrance into the world 8)

Wudgie - Thanks for the new thread. If you can please change my age to 43, unfortunately. Has it gotten real hot in Florida yet? It's been brutal here. Really makes entertaining a toddler hard when you can't go outside during the day.

Cathy- Your belly looks great! I bet you are excited for the 18th. Have you thought of any names yet? Do you have family in the area that help you? My mother is coming for the summer but she is 73. She won't really be able to watch Bobby unless he is already in bed and we want to go out. But, by then I need to go to bed too. :D

Sari
- Wow! $42,000 a year. I can't imagine what tuition will be when Bobby goes to college. That beach in your photo looks so pretty!

:hi: to everyone!

Bobby's second day of preschool didn't go well either. I dropped him off at 9 and they called me at 10 to come get him. They only give them 1 hour to stop crying. I feel so bad. But I am bringing him back next Tuesday. I joined some mommy groups on meetup.com. It was hard at first going to the outings because I didn't know anyone. But the ladies have all been real nice. They are all in the same position as me, home with a little one who need other kids to play with. We've gone to some parks, Chuck E Cheese and other places for kids together. It's really working out great.

Ellen - Love, love your new pics. Bobby is positively adorable, and you're gorgeous as always. I'm glad you've found other activities with moms & kids, even if preschool is a tough transition. Hang in there and I'm sure it will get better. We've been in the low to mid 90s for the past few days, with no rain. So hot & humid. We've been out on the river or in the pool at a friend's house several times this week, as it's been too hot to do much else outside and we hate to stay in all the time. We try to play outside right after breakfast for a little while but after that it gets tough.

Wudgie Thanks for starting the new thread. As I hate to admit it I will be 43 in Sept so I guess you should change my 40 status since I will never see 40 again. If that was actually my age I might just try for another.LOL

Cathy You look amazing!!!!!!!!!

Denise Your kids like the same stores as my kids.Ella does pass her Abercrombie and Hollister stuff to Kayla even though they are 7 years apart.Areilla likes her clothes fitted and Kayla is a little chunky so it woks well for hand me downs for Kayla. Now is the first time I can pass boys clothes down from my 6 year old to my 2 year old . Two sounds strange to say but Noah will be two on Friday.Sounds like you are doing a great job with your crew!

Ellen I love your new pics!!! $42,000 is pretty scary and Shalom should have got a scholarship but did not want to take the SAT again(.I say poor baby} Ariella just took them twice. One of my kids better get a scholarship .... Ella wants to go to Barnard that is over 50,000.I try not to think about it. The beach pic was in Israel when we visited family it was pretty.Do you do Gymboree or music classes? It is a good outing for both of you.Sorry school is not going well it will get better.

Hi to everyone I missed!

JADE0199-- I have b/g twins that just turned 3. My 11th child was born on they're birthday. They though that was a great gift. My twins were my 8th,9th child. They were 15 months when my 10th child(girl) was born. It was a handful and more but they wanted to take care of her. They were to little to understand. My hubby doesn't come home till they are getting ready for bed or in bed. I have family but I like to do it myself. Sometimes overwehlming but by the end of the day its so worth it.
You have a cute belly. I think I carry bigger now since I had my twins. They made room for future babies to have plenty of room.lol.

My youngest has RSV so he had to stay at the hospital. He's still there and is on oxygen to help him breathing. My almost 2 yr. old was sick with a cold and got him sick. It's been hard juggling family the past 2 days. Hopefully going home tomorrow so I can get back in the swing of things.

Denise - I hope everyone feels better soon and stays healthy!

Suri - I updated all your info :D

AFM, I hit the 3rd tri this week :yay: Can't remember if I updated after my last Birth Center visit, but my glucose test came back great as did my thyroid levels. I've gained 10-11 lbs so far, which is right where I was with Miss K (although I started this pg about 10 lbs heavier). Here's a comparison of when I was pg with her and this time. I'm definitely bigger in the boobs (which I didn't need) and the belly (which is OK).

Wudgie-- You carry so small. You look great though. Bigger boobs is something I can do without also even though dh loves it.lol.

Still in the hospital been here since Wed.. Very thankful for WiFi. Hoping tomorrow he can come home. Still needing oxygen so I'll just have to wait and see.

SARI: I have 3 redheads as well. My 8, 3 yr. old and 1 month old. All boys. We do know where it comes from. On my side of the family. Maybe I'll have a girl with red hair one day.

Home from the hospital. He sounds so much better. What a horrible thing to go through and I'm so glad to be home.

Happy Monday Everyone!

Hi Everyone,
Sorry to be MIA for so long - only got re-connected to the Internet on Sunday. Sadly on Saturday I found out the baby had only developed for no more than 2-3 weeks although there is a big sac, there's no baby in it at 13 weeks. It looks as though I'm finally about to m/c after spotting for about 5 days. I'll never know if it was just my age or if it was having to be in the xray place when Zachy broke his leg as the baby stopped developing at exactly that time.
On the bright side the children are enjoying living in the new place - Mayanne keeps telling me we're living in her house, Caelan is making some new friends, and Zachy is as good as new and coming up with some whole sentences. They definitely keep me cheered up:)
Wudgie - So happy to see you going into the 3rd trimester. Such a tiny tummy, and so huge on top....I think I would have preferred things that way round! I'm 44 with children born 2002, 2007 and 2008, hoping you can update that.
Suri - Those fees sound so expensive. How will you cover them?! Maybe the children will have to look after you in your broke old age:) Noah looks very big suddenly. Funny about you not knowing where the red hair came from. There must have been either blondes or redheads in the past down both your and your dh's family trees. It could have been a very long way back too. My great-grandmother was a redhead but we haven't had anyone else in the family since.
Denise - So glad your little one got out of hospital, sounded so scary, best to keep him away from the others for a bit to make sure he doesn't catch something else. It sounds like you have the busiest life imaginable.
Ellen - You and Bobby look great. I hope you enjoy having your mother visit. Maybe Bobby could wait a while for pre-school. None of mine have ever been and they're as sociable as can be. Three can be a good age to start as children interact more with each other and play better together then, unless you have to put him in, of course. Thanks so much for your condolences on the other thread.
Hi to everyone else too, hoping everyone's doing OK,
