B - yeah sorry I meant excerise ball. I went in with an open mind but hoped i could do it without any drugs and i was able to have a completely med free birth. The ball in the shower took most of the pain away and when I got out it hurt ALOT but once they said I could start pushing the pain went away again. I was very proud of myself and hope it goes well again. I am going to do the same thing, DH knows I really don't want drugs and if I was to say that is it I need something he would make sure I really did and then would say okay. It is good to have him on my side. He was Willing to do anything I needed, including getting in the shower with me in his clothes to help make the howler head reach my back where I couldn't get it to reach.
I loved the med free I was back to normal after about an hour. Well I had pain in the stretched regions, lol, but I could walk around, hold Link and talk with visitors.

This is really harder than I thought. I just busted on my glucose testing after breakfast. 1hr later and my levels were 187 (or 10.4 for intl. people)... Should have been under 140.5 (7.8 intl. readings). And I kept with the diet she suggested. I'm allowed 30g of carbs for breakfast. I had 31g this morning. ¾cup Cheerios, ½cup Vanilla Rice Milk and a Tassimo Cappuccino cup. Yes, I know I need to cut that out, but I thought I'd be okay if I kept under the reccommended levels. Ugh!

10/15 more weeks of this. And I cant even afford the stupid strips and needles! 120$/month (it's 60$ for a pack that lasts about 2wks... and we have no private insurance. They are not covered by the public plan apparently) We are so tight on money right now. I hate that Moises isnt getting hours at work because its "dead season" apparently. Instead of the promised 40hrs/wk, he BARELY gets 33hrs... at min wage. I still havent paid August's rent of 1050$ and with his pay today, I have now 700$ in my account. I have rent, bills and food to pay for. UGH! And then pay Sept rent in 3wks again with more food and bills. I seriously cannot wait til Scentsy comes to Quebec in October and I can start selling like crazy.

EDIT: Maybe I can switch the vanilla milk for something else, but I really dont like unsweetened/original in my cereal. It would have to be vanilla. Is there something less sugary than rice milk, but still have some flavor??

Well, like Avon, but better compensation, and no HUGE selection to carry around. It all fits in 1 bag :)

Sarah - Rice milk is high in carb's so that might be the problem more than the vanilla.
Have you tried soy milk? it has way less carb's an is high in protein. You can get vanilla flavor in Soy milk. You could also try almond milk it has less carb's and is also high in other nutrients. My MIL is a type 2 diabetic and she was told to avoid rice milk because of the carb's in it.

I can't even imagine trying to figure out what every food has and how to balance it out!! You are doing a great job for even trying, and then o have to add financial issues on top of that. I old be going crazy!! Right now I am just praying this baby holds out until at least Aug 27. That way the school board has to pay me my entire 6 weeks mat. Leave. If I have him early then they only pay me for when school is back. We really kind a need the 6 weeks of pay. We can always figure it out without but it would make it o much easier.

I've had soy milk before, the thing is, its not good for boys... so Moe and Sam would have to drink something else...

I cant believe you guys only get 6wks. It's 12months mat leave here ;)

No, I live in Canada as well. I get a year leave but only 6-8 weeks of full pay. After that I go on EI for the year.

Ya I live in Alberta and yes I am taking the 12 months. I am looking forward to it. I know at the end of it I will be looking forward to work though. It was nice giving Link and me a break from one another. Plus a really enjoy teaching kindergarten!

I second the almond milk, Sarah. I'm pretty lactose intolerant so I use it for my cereal and in smoothies and love it. And knowing you, you could probably make your own!
