Sarah - Wishing you a speedy recovery from the D&C. When I had mine back in May, my body bounced back very quickly, so I hope you have the same luck. I think its terrible that the school you work at can threaten to fire you over this. I also just can't believe that your insurance wouldn't cover a life-or-death procedure like D&C. It's not like its an optional surgery you are having.... GR. I'm mad for you. :x

Sylvia!!! Can't wait to hear how l&d went and to see pictures of Ari!

Jen - Glad things are going well. I had a span of multiple-pee-per-night nights around 30 weeks also. I think maybe my body adjusted slightly, because I've been back to once a night for a couple weeks now.

Hi everyone else :)

AFM - Nothin new to report really. First Lamaze class coming up on Saturday, pretty excited about that :)

Thanks Carol! I'm glad things are going well for you too! Yeah, this peeing all the time thing is getting old. I guess what I'm the most sick of is all the acid reflux I've been having. I'm beginning to think it isn't even controled by what I'm eating anymore. It seems like, no matter what I eat I have bad reflux.

So looking at my ticker, it says my baby is the size of a cucumber. I think they are thinking those weird seedless cucumbers because I don't think I've ever bought a regular cucumber longer than at best 10 inches. LOL

Hey beauties!

Just a quick check in. To make a long story short, my water broke and I was only at 1 cm dilated so my Dr. gave me potosin. I labored for about 5 hours till 5:30 am when I was given the epidural - HUGE relief on the pain! Was able to get some rest and awoke to being 9 cm! Time to push! Pushed for 2 hours. At one point Ari was breech and another point facing the side. So she was pretty jammed in there and her lil heartbeat going up quickly so I had to go have an emergency c-section.

Baby Ari was born at 3:33 weighing 9 lbs and 20.5 inches long! I'll try to share pics but I'm on my phone so let's see, plus I keep dropping my phone cuz I'm so tired!! They took her to the NICU to give her antibiotics, and she had a few lil breathing issues so they will monitor her all night. Only saw her for about 2 mins after the c-sect. Hubs goes to visit her though! It's so surreal like "did I even have a baby?" Since I haven't seen her! :-( but hopefully in the morning.

Much love to all of you!

My Goodness Sylvia! Aripop is absolutely gorgeous. I teared up a little. LOL. I told you! Head full of hair. Little mohawk. I'm sorry the labor process went awry. But as you told me, ultimately mama and baby are perfectly fine and healthy, and that's all that matters. Congratulations mama.

Congrats Sylvia! I echo what everyone else has said - glad that in the end there's a healthy and happy baby and momma. Can't wait for more pics :)

Not sure what happened, but all of a sudden today standing and walking is super uncomfortable in my lower back and lower belly areas. Sitting is fine though. Guess it's good that I sit mostly at work. And also that the bathroom is not far :)

Yes, Jenn - They need to stay in an bake for as long as possible. :D

AFM - I have an ultrasound tomorrow to measure little bub, and see how he is doing! SO EXCITED! Still really need to get in and get his room all set up, but I did finally start a load of his laundry! :D

Jenn I agree! I meant starting a full term (37 weeks) anything goes haha

I just finished all the baby laundry. Well the stuff I do have. My baby showers dont start until im 36 weeks so I figured I would wash what I have so im not over whelmed when I get more clothes. I have also decided to start maternity leave on april 1 (per dh  ) since he doesnt trust me at the gym because im still reracking weights ans spotting more weight then I should. So he said he would prefer I stay home and relax (ya right ha!) And prepare for baby. Getting so excited!! My next appt is at 35 weeks and we will be testing for group b strep.

Oh ya. And I need to interview pediatricians! Haha
