Hi Ladies,

Liza, great to hear you're doing better! Nope, no ms yet. I have on occasion just felt like it was going to be ms and goes right away. I do get a watering mouth though more often. Yay!!! can't wait for your appts!! and the gender appt, eek, so exciting. We def want to know. No team green here :) How'd the fire pit and bench turn out? Sounds really nice!

Taren, I hear ya! and I'm tired so it's harder to try to get all your work done when you're busy. I used to thrive off of being busy and work harder as I loved being busy, now I just want to push everything into the garbage can! :)

Lany, how are you doing? How is your weekend going?

Ola, hope ms starts to taper off being that you're in the 2nd Tri now!

Have a great weekend ladies! Hope everyone gets some rest and has an enjoyable weekend. Can you guess what I'll be doing a lot of? SLEEPING!!!!!!!!!!

Hi ladies,

Sorry been Mia!! Have been away for work and things got a little hectic :)

How is everyone doing?

Taren have you started getting ms yet? I hope you are having a better day and have a relaxing weekend planned :)

Danielle any new sxs for you? Do you get another us this week. I know you said something somewhere but can't remember so thought is asked again :)

Liza glad to hear that the ms has settled down. You
Sound super busy!! Don't forget to take some time out for yourself when you can.

Ola sorry to hear you are still getting ms. Hopefully it will end for you soon.

Afm I've been very busy with work. I am feeling well. Some days I look obviously pregnant and others not so much. I think it depend on how much I eat lol. Have still only put on 2.5 kg so happy with that :)

Back to work tomorrow. Weekends go far too quickly :?

Lany... nausea has been ongoing for over a week now!! Not throwing up just pure nausea! Seems like we are all really busy lately! How was your weekend? Thats a great amount for weight gain! I swear if I eat too much I totally bloat up.. but pretty much have permablaot right now. LOL

Danielle.. is very hard.. but we push through!! I find even bringing myself to do house work is a chore.. LOL. DId you get lots of sleep this weekend?? What did you get up to?

Liza... oh yes some sickness for sure but I am able to eat still so thats good.. geez your gender scan will be here before you know it!! Getting so close to the 2nd trimester. We are definitely finding out the gender!

Ola.. whats going on lady?? How waas all that family time?? Feeling any better?

AFM.. where do the weekends go?? I felt horrible me being sick and exchuasted on saturday and sunday with a little bit more energy but just completely nauseated!! Plus my face has broken out like crazy.. anyone have any tips/suggestions?? I hope it goes away after the 2nd trimester or at least tames down!!!!!! Looks like we may already have a crib!! My grandma is selling her house and moving into a care facility and getting rid of all the stuff in her hosue except what she is taking to the care facility. One of the things is a solid wood crib.. it is soooo gorgeous!! they dont make them like this anymore thats for sure and it even has a canopy! Its dark cherry wood also! I will have to post a picture when we get it. It was a $2000 crib when she bought it any me and all my cousins have slept it in .. so its been around awhile! Plus she has a wooden rocking chair for us as well! Antique and its very nice too! Feeling pretty lucky :-) I hope the crib mattress we have fits!!

Hi Ladies,

You're right Taren, we fight through it all!! YAY for the crib. That's so exciting. Can't wait to see pics. No tips on the breakouts that i can think of, I'm having it too. No matter how much I wash, it's still bad but it's tiny tiny little bumps so not too noticeable but I know it. I have a med prescribed by my dermatologist which she gave me a brand which is "safe" for pg but still scared to use it. I had a rough weekend as well. I did ALOT of sleeping.

Lany, how did the work event go? Did you have a nice time? Glad you're feeling well! My new sx, nausea and bbs are HUGE and more sore which I didn't think was possible!! Comes and goes all throughout the day. Out of breathe if I get too hot and trying not to over do it. I planted our garden yesterday but kept taking a break from the sun. Way to go on minimal weight gain. I barely want to eat and like Taren said too, when I eat, I then feel bloated. Nothing is appealing, we went to breakfast Saturday and I tossed and turned with what to eat and finally settled on a blt on wheat. Ate half and done. My next u/s is probably going to be Friday am. It was going to be Thursday but we're going to a baseball game Wednesday night and won't get home until midnight so am not doing a 7am u/s on Thursday.

Ola, how are you feeling? ms subsiding finally?

Liza, how are you doing? Anything new?

afm, I mentioned some above, nausea started over the weekend, it's on and off throughout the day but I just rest for a bit and then feel better. I stocked up on crackers and bread for toast this am, and soup, yup, it will be 85 this week and soup makes me feel better. Hey whatever works. Last week I was freezing all week, this week, I'm sweating. Having a hard time looking at the computer screen or my phone/ipad. Makes me dizzy :( but just happy to know that the little one is settling in!!! DH couldn't understand why I wanted to sleep so much or not eat anything so I explained fatigue and nausea to him, then he was like, why don't you go rest!!

Oh I haven't heard of that one yet Taren. GL with it. Hope it helps. I had 2 big welts that wouldn't do anything and hung around about a week, they finally just went away. Still have the tiny little bumps on the sides of my face and down my chest but can only feel them, not see them. I'll take it! How are you doing? Still nauseous? I had a small bout of it today, nothing major. Had my toast right away to try to cut it off from happening and sipping ginger ale throughout the am. Took until about lunchtime yesterday to feel better. I would rather feel everything though, gives me a peace of mind.

Morning ladies,

Taren the tea tree facial cleanse sounds interesting. I'd be interested to hear how it works for you. I have been fairly lucky that my skin has been bumpy but not visibly so. I can just feel it :) sorry the ms is starting to get stronger. Sometimes the nausea is actually worse than the actual throwing up!

Danielle how is the fatigue going? Hope you are getting some rest. Have you told your bosses yet or have you still been able to keep it under wraps. I know what you mean about prefer feeling it as a sign of knowing everything is ok :) you are talking to the resident crazy person here.

Liza did I see you have an appointment today? Looking forward to an update

Ola how are you? Feeling any better yet?

Afm I am off to the eye dr. I have yet another stye on my eye and imam determined to get to the bottom of it. I feel like a mess at the moment and I can't figure out if it is baby or just other stuff but apart from my eyes my sinuses are going crazy! I sneeze at least 20 times before I get out or bed and my nose is like a tap. I've got ulcers in my mouth. Everyone keeps telling me maybe it's a girl with all these things going on. I'm not convinced. Don't want to get my hopes up lol :)

Ohhhhh Lany. You poor thing. Hope you get to the bottom of it and feel better soon! I remember you saying all the time about wanting to feel sxs and I always felt bad for you with all the worrying and understood where you were coming from but I could never relate. I felt great this am. Come lunchtime, not so much. I haven't told my bosses yet. I want our parents to know first before we tell anyone. I think work suspects it but no one has said anything. No one knows but all you girls and the drs. And DH is all about keeping it a secret. He wants to wait the full first tri. I told him we're telling the parents and siblings next weekend as long as everything is still good, but are asking them all to keep it quiet. Hope you feel better!!!

Well I went to the eye specialist and they have explained the causes behind styes. They are usually caused from lack of water - well that can't be it, I drink at least 4l a day!
Not enough fruit and vege - I eat salad just about every day. Could up the veg intake. Been a bit slack with dinner as I am usually so exhausted by then.

Not enough omega 3 - well I eat bucket loads of fish and........hormones!!
So I guess that's it. Not much they can give a pregnant lady to help though. Medications are steroid based :( just have to hope they clear up as my hormones regulate!!

Liza they say under 140 boy and over girl. In saying the one son was 134 and the was 158 at this stage of pregnancy. Will be comparing at my 19 week as well :)
