BethAnn - today is a much better day than yesterday! While I am still exhausted, my mental state is so much better! Hubby did everything he could yesterday to make things better. Sorry to hear your OHSS is back! That sucks! Lucky for me, I didn't like coffee/beer so I don't have to worry about that, but I have had a couple of food aversions lately - one was at lunch at work one day last week...Things will start getting better!

Sarajack - So glad you are here!! When is our beta again?

Bethann - I'm sorry your symptoms are coming back - hopefully it gets better soon! I promise to work on those u/s pics soon - work is crazy right now but I will get on it when I can!

AFM - I am feeling better. No further incidents or symptoms, but it's all so stressful and of course I am such a worry wart that I feel like all I do is imagine the worst and then worry that the worry is welcoming more things to worry about...I must sound like a crazy person! lol! of course my next OB appointment and u/s isn't for four more weeks. I've contemplated asking to move it up, but I'm undecided.

Furbabymom, I'm so glad you're feeling better! I bet it was just some old blood from implantation or irritation of the cervix during u/s, etc. But I completely understand your worrying! It's so hard not to worry about every little thing... much less when something like spotting happens. Keep taking care of yourself and I'm sure it's all going to work out!

sara, so glad you're feeling better! I can't wait until we're all through this first trimester and enjoying ourselves in the second! :D

So, I got cleared to go back to work tomorrow, which I am pretty happy about, but my doc was actually pretty concerned when she saw me today since my OHSS fluid has gone down since I was last in Wednesday, but my shortness of breath increased. Since I've had some chest pain and heart palpitations as well, she was on the verge of sending me to the ER for a pulmonary embolism work-up. She explained it would be a very conservative move at this point, and PE can't be ruled out without radiation (I'm guessing an x-ray?), which isn't hugely advisable... but she also emphasized she's sure the baby will be OK if I have to get one. It was a little scary and I was glad DH was there -- she said it's his job to watch me for any changes and whisk me off to the ER if I get worse in any way. Right now I'm feeling assured that it's unlikely, and I also feel like I can pretty much let the worry go and trust that he'll spot it if there seems to be a change, but I hate having to make decisions like this.

Also, usually to monitor OHSS they do both an external and internal u/s, but this time the doc was there for external, and said she didn't need to see the internal one. I usually am not excited about getting that probe stuck up my vajayjay, but I was actually sort of disappointed today as I was hoping to see the bean again! Sigh. 10 more days it is.

Hi guys!! Happy to join you over here! Tomorrow is my first beta! I can't wait to see what the number is :) I am feeling okay, still some cramps off and on and a weird shooting pain in my va jay jay??

Bethann, hope you are back to 100% soon, holy cow you have had a time with that OHSS!

Hi to the other familiar faces! I am a little behind you guys but can't wait to see you all forge the way!

Question, I am going to call my OB for an appt tomorrow, and I was wondering when I should make it for? I will be 4 weeks tomorrow, so I was thinking two weeks from tomorrow but I want to make sure when I go we can see a heartbeat!

I think at 6 weeks you're pretty safe, as long as the U/s tech knows what she's doing. I saw mine at 5w5d, and I think it's usually visible by 6.

Tammy - I had my first u/s at 7 weeks. It was brutal waiting that long but I did like that I was pretty much guaranteed to see my bean and the heartbeat. You might be fine at 6 weeks, but I have had a couple friends who weren't yet able to see the heartbeat at that point. I think it just depends on how long you can stand to wait :). Does your RE not do a standard u/s? I have also had those shooting pains, still have them in fact!

Beta came in at 84! I am so very happy with that number, today is the equivalent of 13dpo and I looked up national average on betabase and 13dpo's average is 85! So for today I am very happy with being average! Next beta will be Thursday!

As far as the U/S go, I probably have to use my OB as my health insurance is changing tomorrow April 1st and it most likely won't cover a doctor out of the state :(

Today's symptoms are really kicking in! Cramping, tired, pukey feeling, boobs super sore, again VERY happy to be average today!

Great beta numbers ladies! Can't wait to hear what they are on Friday!

I thought my fatigue was bad previously, but holy cow - it just keeps getting worse. Guess I really should not complain as I have had minimal nausea and no actual getting sick. How is everyone else feeling these days?

I completely agree with the fatigue! I took a shower this morning and was ready to go back to bed! Other than fatigue (which I'm calling exhaustion) I've been getting heartburn after I eat. Sore boobs as well but no real morning sickness thank goodness!

sara, great numbers!! So excited for you!

So this morning I've been having terrible stabbing pains in upper abdomen, right near belly button. Has anyone else had/heard of this? They come and go pretty quickly, but when they hit, they're really intense. Hard to call my doc while at work because I work in a cubicle farm, lol, and don't know if I even need to.

Sorry I haven't been posting much these past few days.....it's been a rough couple days. Yesterday at work I was having a conversation with a co-worker when out of nowhere I felt a rush of something come out of me. I was hoping it was just a dump of crinone coming out so I ran to the bathroom and found my underwear covered in dark blood. Of course I freak out, call and call my OB. I tell her it is a lot o blood and she tells me I am probably miscarrying and to go to the ER. So I do. By the time I got there the bleeding had stopped but I had already surrendered to the fact that I was loosing my baby. A few hours later, as ERs work, I was brought down for an u/s and somehow my little bugger was still there, heart beating away. The heart beat had increased since my last u/s and little one was right on track growth wise. The u/s tech was confused why I was there. Hubby and I were almost in tears. Finally the doc came to tell me that the bleeding was from a small (less than 1cm) subchorionic hematoma. The doc did not know much about them unfortunately, so over course I've been a google addict. I have a follow up with my OB on Tuesday. I know I am not out of the woods, but I am happy to know where the bleeding came from and at this point it is a small hematoma. On the positive side I got new pics!

At this point I am trying to stay positive....I guess someone is trying to send me a message that being anxious does no good!
