yay exciting on the mobile's reapage! I saw some cute ones on Etsy that have safari animals and also another from R&H baby. I haven't bough the bedding yet, can't decide what I want. I saw this cute grey and yellow ikat so I might end up with that lol

I think all these appointments and timelines like getting stuff delivered, prepping nursery, will hopefully make our time go by faster! I just bought a lot of baby clothes on gap haha so I can't wait to get them!

Sara - Congrats on getting to 29 weeks! Have you had a growth scan to see where the girls are size-wise? Second, I am so glad you got a lawyer because you losing your job is complete nonsense! I really hope that gets sorted out for you ASAP!

Babyhopeful - Will the scan on the 24th be your anatomy scan? I bet you can go past 37 weeks. The majority of the twin moms I know went between 37-40 weeks and we know Sara is doing so great she will get close to those numbers :) Yay for planning out the nursery. I do have my rocker and I often just sit in it, my dh thinks I'm a nut, but I like to be with all the baby stuff!

Reapage - Your scan is so close! I'm sure it will go great. I love etsy, so much great stuff! I can't wait to see the mobile! Has your heartburn gotten any better?

AFM - Had my first non-stress test....and man is it boring. They hook you up to a few monitors which track the baby's hb and movement to make sure the baby is not in distress. Baby seemed great and had a hr in the 130s. I attached my bumpie from today. I'm feeling a little concerned as I have not gained any weight in almost a month and they say at this point I should be gaining a pound a week. Not that I am complaining about low pregnancy weight but I want to make sure baby is getting what it needs to keep packing on the pounds (which is really all it should be doing at this point). Next Wednesday (my u/s) cannot come fast enough!

Babyhopeful, Etsy is great for handmade products. I really wanted mobiles that went from the ceiling and were abstract, and I found just that. Love them! I cant wait for us to actually get the nursery together. It feels like we have so much to do in so little time, but time is dragging haha. I have strayed away from baby gap so far.... I know once I start I wont stop!

Furbabymom, you look wonderful!!! You are so close! Thanks for asking about he hear burn, I haven't had it in a couple days, so hopefully it stays away! I have also been drinking more water. Maybe that's helping. I cant wait for your u/s as well! My goodness, I cant imagine waiting so darn long! But at least you got to do the stress test, as boring as it might be, you know that your babe is doing well & happy! Im sure the weight is fine... I think a lot of women slow down on the gain in the end. How are the insulin shots treating you?

AFM, Monday, Monday, Monday.... I have never been so excited for a Monday!

Furbaby, you look so cute! Haha on the boring non-stress test! But glad everything is okay with baby! I'm sure your baby is growing well and by Wednesday you'll see where baby is measuring! However, I know your fear. I've been sitting over here wondering if I should be bigger than I am. My anatomy scan hasn't been scheduled. I'll call tomorrow. The appointment on the 24th is to check on my cervix length and see babies heartbearts.I'll be going in every two weeks starting from next week's appointment to check my cervix. Eventually it'll go down to one week! I've been anxious to see the babies and once next week hits, I'll be seeing them a lot!
I hope that us multiple mommies will all get to 37 weeks!

Reapage, Yay for Monday! I can't wait for the update on your babies! Etsy has amazing products. I went pin crazy back in June and July and have tons of stuff on my pinterest on what I want for the nursery. The one thing I have been doing is buying tons of clothes. I see a sale and I can't help it lol The babies most expensive clothes actually came from Etsy from a woman who sells baby and toddler clothes. She was saving up money for IVF too and when I bought the clothes from her she was pg via IVF but sadly a few weeks later had a m/c. :( Here's her site: https://www.etsy.com/shop/SimpleSawyer I bought two of her welcome home baby packages because I also wanted the swaddling blankets. I bought them the day I got a positive pregnancy test lol Two sets! I felt deep down there were two in there haha and my husband asked me if I was really gonna buy two sets because it ended up being $150

I can't wait till next week!!! I hate waiting for 3 weeks to see them lol I know I shouldn't complain since singletons don't get to see their babies as much but I keep worrying if they are growing on track. I still haven't really felt movement. I don't know what I do feel sometimes is a baby moving or if it's just something else.

Babyhopeful, I will check out her page! That's so sad about her loss :(

Your bump looks great!!!! Its so cute! I feel like my butt is growing in proportion to my bump, it sucks haha! I think we all find something to stress about when it comes to the babe's.... I just cant wait until 2016 and we all have them with us and we know they are safe and healthy. I hope they scheduled your anatomy scan! mine is in two days. Holly crap I am nervous!

The movement will pick up. Ask where your placentas are. baby A has a posterior placenta so I feel him move all the time (while Im typing this) but baby A has a frontier placenta so I rarely feel her. My goal is 36 weeks and anything above that will be amazing... but babies at 36 weeks don't "need" NICU time unless something else is going on, so that's promising!

I have been reading a lot of twin birth stories, they help pass the time!

Hey Ladies! I finally worked up the nerve to venture over to the preggo board. :)

Calm - WELCOME! So glad you joined us! Do you have any pics from your u/s?

Reapage - I hope you're feeling better! Monday is almost here.

Babyhopeful- your bump is becoming more noticeable! I have a feeling once you "pop" it's just going to grow like crazy. Since you are 17 weeks I would put money on the feelings being the babies moving. For me the first movements were very subtle, like little bubbles or swishes. Pretty soon they will be full fledged kicks and punches.

I realized today that if I am in fact induced at 39 weeks like my OB mentioned I only have 6 weeks left at work! I was very excited. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hey Mamas!! I know I'm never on here, but I do try to read updates as much as possible.

Babyhopeful - Yay for a boy and a girl! And that's great that you got to have your whole family there to find out! Your bump is getting there. I have a feeling you'll just pop overnight and then forget you were ever worried about it. I feel like mine went from just flabby to an actual bump overnight...then I actually felt like this is real! Oh, and I love your nursery ideas!

Furbabymom - You're getting so close! I feel your back to school pain, as I'm there myself. I'm definitely counting down the days until I'm done for the year! Your nursery ideas are great too. It's funny how we all have grays in our nursery themes. My big family shower will be around 36 weeks too, and it's freaking me out a bit...especially since it's so close to Christmas too. I've decided to focus and Christmas prep first, so that the whole month of December can be devoted to baby prep.

Sara - I was so glad to hear about your shower and see your adorable nursery....not to mention hearing that those girls are behaving and staying put. Then I was so angry for you when I read about your work situation. That's just ridiculous, and that lawyer needs to put them in their place! Let him handle all of that so you can focus on those little girls.

Reapage - I just commented on your updates on the other board, but I wanted to jump in with more heartburn advice. The lemon water could be the culprit. It definitely brings it on for me. I've resorted to daily Pepcid for prevention, but then still need Tums by bedtime. There are very few foods that don't give me heartburn, so I've just learned to cope instead.

Calm - Great to see you over here!

Hope everyone else is doing well!

AFM....Just dealing with work and exhaustion. That will pretty much be my life for the next 15 weeks or so. I'll start serial growth scans soon, so that may make things a little more interesting. My nursery prep so far consists of piling everything in our den because we haven't painted the actual nursery yet. Luckily the den has doors I can close and pretend it's not such a mess. We finished our amazon registry and are doing a Target registry tomorrow with a few things for the family that I know won't shop online to get. Between my own online shopping and hand-me-downs, I pretty much have enough clothes for he first few months. I also have a pretty impressive diaper stock, which I bought using coupons and great sales (I'm a total coupon freak). I went by what my "Baby Bargains" book said as far as how many of what sizes for the first three months. Now I just need my DH and my dad to get the stupid new bathroom done so we can move on to the nursery and I can actually have a place to put all this stuff!

I have a bump pic to post, but I'll have to do it in a separate post bcs it seems to work best from my phone.

And of course I had to crop the heck out of it bcs it won't fit!

Hey ladies! I've officially been in the hospital for a month! We are almost at 30 weeks which is a big weight off our shoulders! I have my 29 week growth scan today so hopefully we will get some good pics of the girls! We did have a bit of good news early yesterday morning. After starting to have contractions 10 min apart yesterday morning they checked my cervix again. I'm still holding steady at 4cm!!!!! Contractions stopped as well without any medication which is great! I just wanted to post my newest bump pic for you all! I feel like I'm HUGE!!!!!!

Hi everyone!

Thanks Reapage! How's your bump! I bet it is beautiful! How was your anatomy scan? I hope everything went well! I'll have to remember to ask my dr where the placenta is. I keep telling myself to ask but then I forget when I'm there. Oh 36 weeks is the ultimate goal! Ok, I'll definitely want to get to that number! Still have my eyes on 37 for the new chinese year lol Boo on the heartburn. I can't believe it is still attacking you :( Your kids must really have some hair growing!

Hi Calm! Welcome! Beautiful baby picture! So cute! I can't wait to see more updates from you!

Furbaby, I can't wait for the pop lol Someone asked me yesterday if I was okay because it looks like I walk sluggish and I said, "I'm just pregnant" and he was shocked to find out. I mean I feel bigger and assumed everyone can tell I'm pg but who knows! The sporadic feelings I get do feel subtle and swishing. Sometimes I wonder if it's cramp like because it's somewhat uncomfortable probably because I"m just not used to it. OMG, I can't believe you have 5 1/2 weeks of work left! That sounds heavenly haha I feel like 20 weeks from now is a good time for me to go into labor, healthy labor :)

Christine, that bump is gorgeous! Thanks on the nursery, do you have a theme for yours? I don't know when I'll actually start on my nursery. I think you have time. Cleaning is such a chore :( I need to do more couponing! I did it before we started trying and have a few boxes of diapers but now I need a grip load lol When is your next appointment?

Nothing new on my end. Waiting for my dr's appt this week and then the anatomy scan which has been booked for 10/8. I can't wait for that one! I'm starting to get nervous like Reapage was. I had an unpleasant dream about them last night that showed they didn't grow on an u/s and went down to a 12 week size. Blah. Can't wait for some reassurance this week!

Calm, I love the photo! Look at that bean! Measuring perfectly! When is your next scan? I think it was around 9w that they actually start looking like real babies, I thought mine looked like baby pups and one waved haha. How are you feeling?

Christine, you look wonderful! I can see the bump :) How exciting! Are people commenting? The hb is so up and down. Awful one day, and gone the next. I hope my kids have lots of hair! I need to get tums! the growth scans will be fun! & you have plenty of time to get the nursery finished. They say the last weeks go by so slow, so this way, you will have something to entertain you!

Furbabymom, omg you are so so so close! Soon you wont even be at work anymore, is it feeling real?

AFM, I posted on the IVF board about the 20w scan, but Ill do a run down here. They basically had a scare with baby boy's chin... the tech thought it might have been abnormally small, so she got more photos and the high risk OB confirmed that its small, but within range and not abnormal. He said he isn't worried in the slightests and didn't even make a note in my file... however it has taken me a couple days to get over the ordeal. We had healthy 4 chamber hearts, strong umbilical cords, growing brains, and functioning organs, everything measured on time, and both babies have a good deal of fluid, and my cervix is holding strong at 4.1cm long and closed. We were also in a car accident yesterday. Minor, and I have been drinking tons of water since and have felt both babes move. I see my OB on Tuesday.

We also have over 30 RSVPs for the baby shower which is a few weeks away, and lots to get done! My sister is in full baby shower mode lol.

Christine - I love the bump! When are you starting maternity leave? School has definitely been rough, but it is making the time go by faster. I do need to find some more supportive shoes as the standing and walking is becoming increasingly uncomfortable.

Calm - I love the pic of the little bean!! I agree with Reapage - the next scan the little one looks like a person...well I thought mine looked like a gummy bear, but I was always hungry at that point too

Sara - You look great! Did you get the growth scan measurements? I am so happy to hear you are holding steady at 4cm!

Babyhopeful - 10/8 is close! Your babies are doing just fine in there! Keep posting pics, you'll be clearly pregnant so soon!

Reapage - It started feeling real today at my ultrasound, I'll post more about that. Sounds like your shower will be great. Due to the size of my family this will actually be my second shower, as we had a big family one in August, and now I feel like no one is coming. I know it will be fun no matter what tho.

AFM - Had an ultrasound, non-stress test and OB appointment today. It has been 13 weeks since I have seen this baby so it was great seeing him/her. The baby is so big that you can barely get a full body part on the screen, such a change from the little gummy bear days! The baby's head is down and facing the back, just as it should be and is measuring 4lbs 14oz. Can't believe I have basically 5lbs of baby in there. The tech confirmed that this baby likes to stick its little booty out and punches its tiny hand into my hip. Ohh and SCH is gone!! The NST went well too, DH was there and could hear through the monitors when the baby was moving/kicking. He was talking to the baby the whole time and it made it all so much more real for me. I'm still feel totally unprepared for this baby but I'm super excited to actually see and hold him/her in a few weeks!
