Ohh Sara your girls are so cute! Yay for moving to a level 2! Do you have any idea how many more weeks they are anticipating the girls staying at the hospital.

AFM - I just got home from my 36 week appointment and NST. I was having more contractions so my doctor did an internal to check and I am 90% effaced and 2 cm dilated. Apparently the baby's head is super low too. My OB told me I have no chance of making it close to my due date. She would love to get me to 39 weeks but she's doubtful about that. I think I am mostly set up for baby but not feeling ready yet so I want to keep this baby in for at least another week!

I hope everyone else is doing well! Any updates from all the follow up appointments?

So they won't give us any idea of time frame other than by their due date. Kari will probably get to come home first but we aren't sure.

So sorry to hear about your dilation. Take it easy and tell that little one to be nice to mom!

Well the contractions came back at work so my doctor officially took me out of work to rest until delivery. Looks like I'll most likely be having an October baby instead of November.

Furbaby - Hey Congratulations!!!! It's a Girl!! Wow congratulations once again. How are you and baby doing. We need the whole birthing story. And can't wait to see your little one. God bless her!! Take care dear.

Reapage - How are you doing hon!! How's your bed rest going on? I pray that your cervix will hold up until 37 weeks.

Sara - How are doing dear? How's babies are doing?

Afm - I had my regular OB checkup on Monday. I was feeling little pressure on my cervix lately and some times am not feeling my baby much. So I raised my fears to my OB she quickly did an U/S. My cervix looked great ( 4.9 cm.) but the bad news is my baby is in breech position and I have a anterior placenta. Which is why, sometimes I am unable to feel her movements. OB told me that she should have turned till now ( head down position). If she stays like this, I won't deliver her naturally :(. So my question is, Is there any way that we can do or help my baby to turn the position. Or anyone heard about the position changes in late 30's weeks or right before delivery?

Thanks ladies! I'm so in love. On Saturday and Sunday nights I had some pretty regular contractions, but then they spontaneously stopped both times. Then Monday late at night I got them again but they were getting increasingly painful. They never actually got totally regular, but I had my bloody show and they were super painful so my doc sent me to the hospital. I got here at 1:30 and when I finally got checked at 3 I was already 7cm dilated. 5 hours later I was fully dilated and ready to push but there was an emergency and the doc needed me to wait - well when your body is ready that is not so easy. She worked her way down naturally and luckily the doctor ran in as she crowning. Three contractions later
she was here! So far her health has been perfect and she hasn't even had to leave my side. Fingers crossed it stays this way!!

Newbie - I have heard of babies turning. I know there are a few sites with techniques to help turn the baby. I think one is spinning babies.

Reapage - how is bedrest going?

Congratulations Furbaby!! I can't wait to see pics of your beautiful girl! You were absolutely right that she would come sooner than expected but sounds like everything worked out great!

Reapage, wonderful news! Cervix stay put and don't get any shorter! Hopefully bed rest has been easy on you.

Newbie, I've heard there are ways to help flip baby. Try googling and see what they say. My friend was told breech at 38 weeks so she didn't have much time to get baby to flip but I think you are ahead of the game and can try now :)

AFM, I've been filled with anxiety and trying not to be. My second anatomy scan is next week and at first I was going with the flow but then I got a call from the high risk dr who realized after scheduling me that she should give me all my options. Those options included going in for an earlier scan and doing an amniocentesis on baby girl because if her stomach doesn't go smaller, there is a syndrome called duotenal artesia and is a marker for downs. I've been trying to stay positive but can't help but wonder now. The two good things so far is that the fluid was normal and she didn't show signs of a double stomach which is what duotenal artesia will looks like. I'm just a nervous wreck when I think about it. We decided not to do the amnio because we want to avoid causing a m/c. That's my update. I am praying next week that her stomach is normal size and it was all just a scare.

Furbabymom I can't wait for pics!

Sara, how are the girls! We need another update!

Baby hopeful, I'm glad you made a decision about the amnio. I really hope this all ends up being nothing just like our chin ordeal. Sometimes they just don't get a great pic. We have seen our boys chin a few times since the 20w scan and it's perfect, I pray the same ends up being true for your little ones stomach. I know how scary it is. Just keep your head up and knowledge is power. <3

AFm, I'll be 25w on Monday! Ah I am feeling really good. They also did a swab on my cervix to run a test and see if I will deliver in the next two weeks and it was negative! Woohoo! My cervix is well and babies are well. I go back on Monday. I have been marathon watching Greys anatomy :) oh we are finishing the nursery this weekend. Which will be me sitting in the glider directing my sister and husband hahah. So I plan to post photos! For now, here is a bump photo!
