Thanks Reapage, I hope so too! I can't believe you're on week 25! yay! Every week is an accomplishment! I can't believe we are in our 20s when it felt like forever during the first 10 weeks. Did you get to finish the nursery this weekend? We have been piling stuff in our nursery but haven't actually put things together. We were going to paint an accent wall but I'll hold off and just keep the room the grey that it is. Gorgeous bump btw!

Furbaby, Everleigh is beautiful! I hope that my babies will come out just as gorgeous! I bet you can't keep your eyes off of her! How are you feeling? Any pain from the birth?

Thank you! Im a little obsessed with her :).
I'm still a little sore, especially if I do a lot of walking or running errands, but it's manageable with Motrin.
We have her 1 week appointment on Wednesday so I'm hoping to get the report that she is still gaining back her weight and the jaundice keeps improving.

How are everyones appointments going. There will be a bunch more babies here soon!!

I bet you and hubby are obsessed with her! We will be in the same boat in hopefully 16 weeks!

I hope that the soreness eases up to make things easier for you! Good luck on the appointment today. Hoping that she is gaining weight and the jaundice is improving!

I finally had my follow up u/s which was another anatomy scan and am so happy to report that baby girl's stomach is back to normal. Most likely she didn't have time to expel what she had swallowed when we had the last u/s. I'll be doing these every month though so they can measure each baby accurately. There is just a huge sense of relief in me now...though my worry guard is up higher than usual and I just keep hoping that everything will be okay and we can reach our delivery goal which is now 38 weeks lol

Hi ladies! Oh my goodness so much to catch up on!

Furbaby - Everleigh is perfection on earth! I got chills looking at her pics. I hope you are having the best time with her.

Reapage - ahhh bed rest! How is it going? I hope that you're feeling well. You've made it so far, let's keep those babies in there for a few more weeks. Are you watching anything good?

Sarajack - your girls are so precious. Any news on when they will get to go home? How are YOU feeling?

Newbie - we are getting so close! Hope you are feeling well hun.

AFM - very little to report. Things are just plugging along for me. 28 weeks on Friday. Passed my GD test. Haven't had a scan since 20 weeks and I don't think I will get another one until much alter (36?) not sure. Have an appointment next week and will ask. Then we move to once every two weeks, which is crazy! I know for the twin mamas that is normal, but for the regular singeltons i've only been seeing my doc every four weeks and all I get is a doppler - no pics or anything. Very different from IVF! Our shower is December 12 and we are doing a co-ed, nighttime one. I am really excited for it! Other than that, just looking fwd to hosting my family for Thanksgiving and starting to get things organized for the baby. We have a bunch of classes coming up in November (birthing, baby care, etc.) and I think that will make it all feel very real. Keep the updates coming ladies - I love reading them! xoxoxo

Hi ladies! Sorry for the long time between posts (or at least it feels that way)! Time seems to go by so much slower yet so much faster here in the NICU. The girls are now a month old! Kari is weighing in at 5lbs 4.3 oz and Leia is at 5 lbs .8 oz. They are both now in open cribs, no longer on the warmers! Both girls get to attempt bottle feeding, but they are kind of hit or miss. You never know what they're going to do.

Leia is going to have her surgery on Monday or Tuesday next week. Her head has gotten so much bigger, but the doctors aren't concerned about any mental issues yet, which is good. They were both also tested for ROP, https://nei.nih.gov/health/rop/rop and Kari passed with flying colors. Leia, on the other hand was determined that she is in stage 3, so we aren't sure exactly what is going to happen with that. She will have another eye exam next week (depending on the date of her surgery). Please keep her and us in your prayers/thoughts as I don't know how much more bad news I can take with it.

AFM, I'm finally starting to feel back to normal. I'm not in pain anymore, unless I walk too much. My emotions are finally starting to get under control - I was crying a lot the first couple of weeks. I've been doing a lot of pumping, not getting much, but I know that anything is better than nothing. The Lactation Consultants as well as my nurse feel that my milk hasn't actually come in, so I only get like 10-15 ml each time I pump, rather than the oz or so I should be getting. Because of this, the girls have been taken off donor milk and are on formula and any milk I can bring in.

I hope everyone is doing well! I promise to start posting more regularly, but please know that I stalk the board every day!

Furbaby - Everleigh is so beautiful! I am so glad you and she are doing really well!

Sarajack, so cute! Thank you for sharing!! I hope you and your family had a wonderful Halloween day and weekend! I cannot believe it's been a month for the girls already! Those girls are definitely gaining weight which is wonderful! Good luck on the surgery with Leia! I hope that everything goes smoothly and this will be the only surgery she needs. You have done amazing and it's okay to cry. You have been through a rollercoaster and it has only made you stronger for them. Good luck with everything!

Karen, glad to hear you passed your GD! I bet it's different to get to see the dr every 2 weeks after seeing them once a month! I think it's great because knowing us worry warts, we always want to see how our baby/babies are doing :) Your shower sounds like fun!

Furbaby, Reapage, EOE, I hope you are all doing well!!

AFM, after the last anatomy scan, I have felt more at ease and can just focus on buying stuff! This weekend we built the cribs and cleaned up the nursery a bit more. I have 20 boxes of diapers in there right now so it is taking up space. Will need to figure out where else we can put them (I'm thankful to be worrying about silly stuff like this :) ) My next appointment won't be for another 3 weeks! My OB decided to skip this week since I had the anatomy scan last week. I think she has faith my cervix will hold. She mentioned ordering my glucose testing next time we meet, don't know if that means I'll do it that day or at a later date. I hope I can pass it! I've been drinking chocolate milk every morning and consuming more sweets than normal (darn halloween lol)

Karen - so glad to hear you passed your GD screening! How are you feeling?

Sara - I love those costumes!! The girls are getting big! How did Leia's surgery go? I've been thinking about you guys.

Babyhopeful - look at that bump! How are you feeling? 20 boxes of diapers?!? You sure are getting prepared momma! :)

AFM - Everleigh is 4 weeks old today, I can't believe it! Technically I am suppose to go back to work in 2 weeks, but I think I'm going to delay my return, I just can't imagine returning so soon! Everleigh is finally spending a chunk of her day awake, she has been a very sleepy newborn! I've attached a recent pic of her awake.

Hope eoe is doing well!

Hey ladies! Sorry to have been MIA. Its actually really hard to find the motivation to do anything lately. I try to keep up on the IVF board but even that is a challenge. I will get better.

Babyhopeful, I am DYING for an update from you!!! how are things? I hope you are well and not having the crazy pregnancy I have had! Careful of that 30 week mark with twins, its NO JOKE. seriously you grow by the freaking day.

Furbabymom, I love your little one, I bet she is getting big so fast! How are you doing otherwise? I thought of you today. I remember us talking about whether or not you could become non GD after being diagnosed and it happened to me as of today! I had failed the 1hr test with a 144. Then I bombed the three hour test. The did four finger pricks a day for three weeks on the GD diet and I passed all of them with flying colors. So they moved it to 3x a week. As of this morning the MFM came and said that they have removed all dietary restrictions because my GD reversed itself and I have become hypoglycemic (I think thats the right word) anyway, my sugars have now become too low. I am ordering some chocolate cake and OJ with my lunch today haha I cant even wait! Overall Im just glad that I didnt require medication intervention.

Sara, hope you and the littles are doing well! Would love another update!!!

Karen, how are you? I hope that bump is nice and big and you are getting close to the finish line!

Newbie, any day now mama!! So happy for you! Cant wait to see your little one <3 <3 You work with Dr. Outlaw right? she spends a lot of time here at the hospital. I have someone from the practice come see me every day, but most often its her, she is such a sweetie! I cant wait to hear who delivers your baby girl.

AFM, well I have been in the hospital on bedrest for 6 weeks as of today, and 11 weeks of bedrest total so far. But the babies seem to be very content. We had an IUGR scare. Baby A was a little small at our last growth scan 3 weeks ago. It wasn't enough to diagnose him with IUGR, but too close for comfort. I am however very small myself, so my OB said she never expected the babies to be big to begin with. Anyway, they had also seen that the blood flow in his cord was restricted, which was the cause of his smaller size. So we started doing two scans a week to keep an eye on it, it was restricted for a week or two and now its been perfect for a couple weeks so we are in good shape again. I have another growth scan tomorrow, so I am really praying we will see a nice jump for both babies. I have also been trying to schedule my c section. My OB said they plan to take the babies at 36 weeks as long as things stay positive, but Im having so so so much trouble scheduling it with the receptionist. She keeps saying she will call me back and NEVER does. So annoyed. Anyway, I have high hopes I will hear back from her today. THREE more weeks ladies!!!
