Postby hazelbazel » Fri May 17, 2013 7:21 pm

Doctors office called and said "we got the results of your glucose test today....we need to talk".....they called a couple of times but i missed. So i called the after hours line and they said they couldn't help and for me to call on Monday. :( in the mean time I'm left here wondering...... Boo.

Boo! I would guess that means you didn't pass too. At least in our office they only call if you don't pass. I know it's bad news but hold on to hope you'll be one of many girls that goes on to pass the 3 hour. I think multiple pregnancy increases the risk of GD?

Maybe there's still hope and you didn't fail but were close to the cutoff? I go in for a repeat glucose next week. I passed the first one at 21 weeks with flying colors but I'm nervous about the second one. Fingers crossed its not bad news for you!

I failed my 1 hour, too, and failed one of the 4 for the 3hr (technically passing), so my peri made me do it again - with the same results.
Was kind of a pain, but nice to sit and rest. Bring a book or something. It'll be last time you get some free time for a long while. ;)

Hope you pass the 3hr!

I'm sorry they're making you wonder..I hate that!!

I passed my one hour but "by the skin of my teeth" according to the nurse.

I hope it's good news for you but If you have to do the 3 hour, I've heard it isn't so bad (unless you're scared of needles like I am lol)
