Amelia's head was totally asymmetrical when she was born and I'm sure it was from her being head down in my pelvis for so long!

Oh man, all the dented heads talk has me having weird dreams about misshaped baby heads. 8O My baby A has been waaaay down there for the last week or so and I can't imagine how she'll come out if I go another 4-5 weeks!

Shelly, I'm so excited for you and will be stalking the boards all day to check on you! :D

Hazel, when will you get the 24 hour urine collection results back?

Babyluv, how are things going??

AFM, had a good NST and growth scan the other day. Super crazy busy day but we made it through. The girls failed the NST only because they were moving so much the nurse couldn't get a baseline on them. Might have been the coffee I had before going, ooops. Growth scan went well, both babies are estimated to be over 4lbs. The ding-dong u/s tech couldn't give me any better estimates than that (huge difference between 4lbs 1oz and 4lbs 15oz you know?!) but DH and I both talked to them about her and I wont have her again for any future ultrasounds. She made me really uncomfortable, mumbled and took waaaay too long to measure everything. I've had enough u/s to know when there is someone good or not and she is definitely not. Plus, when they had to do the cervical check time before last, she kicked my DH out of the room! I told her I really didn't mind him being in there (hello, IVF, had tons!) but she said she wasn't comfortable with it. Anyway, aside from dipstick u/s lady, I was just glad everything was fine and we got in and got out in time to go to my DS's school party.Tomorrow is my regular OB with one of the new OB's in the new practice so hopefully that goes well!

Kristen - I wouldn't worry too much about the dented head thing. Most kids heads round out with no problems. My Reagan was the exception! I can't believe the u/s tech couldn't tell you more than 4lbs. I agree, she sounded like she sucked. I'm shocked that she wouldn't let your DH be in the room for the cervical check. WTF, he's your DH! At any rate, those are some great weights so that's good news. Good luck seeing the new OB.

Kristen - Sorry! I should have said that her head is fine now and has been for some time! She was down in there from at least 30 weeks on and was fully engaged from 35 weeks until birth.

Can't remember if I posted since Monday or not. Basically had an uneventful apt with no increased dilation per manual check. I'll go again on Monday. Today I'm having a lot of contractions....every 8 minutes or so even with Procardia but I'm on the fence about calling. Had some mucous goo earlier too, but not a ton.

Its almost comical that the US tech made you DH step out Kristen. I;m pretty sure he's knows your lady bits quite well since you do have children together and he's planning to be there when they are birthed. That's just weird in my book. Anyways, glad they are growing well, but strange she couldn't give you an exact weight. Glad you wn't have to deal with her again.

Been wondering about you hazel and how your 24 hour collection turned out?

So I have a not so good update. COntracted a lot all day despite procardia. Came to be monitored.... Was every 3-5 minutes even after 4 procardia (1 every 20 min) and went from 1-2 cm in a couPle of hours. Admitted for 12 hr mag drip for prevention of preterm brain bleeds and hope cObtractions slow too and I don't progress anymore. I am no where near ready to have these babies!

Ooh babyluv I'm sorry! That mag is NO FUN. Hope the little ones stay on the inside a bit longer, but 32 weeks is great and they'll be fine either way.

I agree! I was in the hospital at 30 +6 with contx and dilation/effacement. I know it's scary, but hang in there! You're in the best place you can be for you and the babies to get the care you all need.

Babyluv - Thinking of you! How scary to go through that! I hope things calm down and you can continue on a few more weeks at least. I'm really hoping to get to at least 35 weeks and then I'll be more relaxed about them coming. We're sooo close!

Hazel - Any updates?? Thinking of you too!

Forgot to post the other day that I went for my weekly OB appt on Thursday and I'm now 1 1/2 cm dilated. Not much change at all from 27 weeks which is a big relief. I thought for sure I'd be at least 2 cm. Still having lots of contractions but not consistent and nothing to make me feel like I need to go in. Just can't believe how close we are to having babies! I have THREE baby appointments this week! OB appt Monday, NST on Tues and another OB appt on Thursday! 8O

Any updates? My girls were born at 33 weeks, and while it sucked for them to stay in the hospital for almost 3 weeks, they are just fine now. HOpefully those LOs stay put for a little while longer!

Kristen - I'm glad to hear you're not dilating any more. Keep cooking those girls momma!

I'm still hanging around. Had a follow up in the OB office yesterday. Probably about the same (a good 2cm) to quote the doctor. I am absolutely dreading any nicu time so I really hope they stay put. As hard as it is now, I can't imagine back and forth to the hospital with having my DS1 and DS2 to take care of too.
