Travelling by air 22 weeks...

Postby shellsbellsxx » Fri Jul 11, 2014 9:02 am

I have a little break booked in Ireland in October (not even a 1 hour flight!) i'll be 22 weeks - now obviously i had this booked before i was expecting, and wasn't a problem when i thought i was carrying one lol Now i know it depends on how things are when the time comes - but hoping all is normal and well - will i be ok to still fly at 22 weeks pregnant with twins on such a short distance? I'm only away for 5 days?

Not a doctor or anything, but I would say yes absolutely. My doc told me no travel after 28 weeks. Assuming things are going well by 22 weeks, I think it would be fine.

Ask about compression socks too. My dr prescribed them for travel at 18-19 weeks but my flight will be much longer. Not sure if you will be high enough for it to matter but with twins it could be a concern still.
